    Everything else, great job. Love the shadows, and the spot light thing, and the akimboness, just needs a back drop.

    I don't think this should be really hard to do though. I've made some (crapy) schematic showing you (somehow) what I meant (I would have done a scan, but right now I can't).

    We see the scene from the left.
    Imagine the little stars are the bullets.
    Imagine the strange thingy on the right is an arm holding a gun (I didn't bother retracing the entire dude <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->).
    Imagine the line at the bottom is the ground.

    What I meant was that the place where bullets are "hovering" would show the trajectory of the marine <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Because adding bullet cases floating in the air is already adding some life to the pic.

    Now if these bullets follow a certain curve, then automaticaly the brain will retrace the movement suggested by the positions of the bullet cases <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    It's like drawing a guy from front view. He's holding two pistols and aims at the reader.
    If I want to suggest that he's slidding from left to right, I'll add bullet cases placed in 2 beautiful curves each one starting from one pistol and going to the left of the drawing.
    See what I mean?

    Here's another try at illustrating what I mean (damn scanner)... Only one curve of bullet cases drawn (the (8) is a gun viewed from front)

    WEll, on the muzzles part, I'll have to pass, but if I can add something, for the love of details, if you can manage to give a random direction for some of the cases, it would be even better (if you look close, each case is directed toward the same direction, while usually they fly in a random behaviour...) <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
