    Rotate his shoulders slightly, so that they aren't oriented as his hips are.

    As promised, here are some pics to show better what I intended to say with... words <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    <img src='http://membres.lycos.fr/ylianthal/displace1.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    <img src='http://membres.lycos.fr/ylianthal/displace3.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    Not that the pics are really big, but once you've done with these I'll remove them from the forum (they would take place for nothing after you got the picture <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Edit: I hope these quick sketches are understandable enough <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
    And the little arrows near the cases show toward what "direction" they are turned, so you can (I hope) better imagine what I meant in my last post <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    JeeR, I'd love to know if there are any resources you can point me towards -- seems you've got some pretty solid storyboarding skills.

    Regarding the render, try putting the pistols closer together. Imagine you're trying to shoot simultaneously with two pistols -- you'd want to have them both as close to directly in front of you (so you can sight down the barrels) as possible. You might also make one having just shot and recoiling upwards while the other is firing straight.

    omg those "quick scetches" are nice... i'll try to add some of those details, including the things coil said tomorrow, here is what i have made to night... (look at the hands <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> )

    His left hand doesn't look like it is holding the pistol firmly and his trigger finger looks a bit big... Other than that you made a good job of them <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    The shells don't look like their placed correctly(if their supposed to be bullets- no. just no. 1, maybe 2 bullets. NOT that many. PLEASE.)

    The fade should be swiping or something, give a sense of action in the fade

    Also, if possible, give him some look on his face. I dunno what, but a bit of a skin alter would be nice.

    Well, the fact is, I'm pretty of a self-taught person myself... I can't point you toward real ressources (as in ressource sites) as I can't say I really have any (maybe I should try to look for some more seriously, or even add some to my website), but still I sure can give you links toward great personal sites of real artists (the kind who makes me feel that I still really am a beginner...) <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    <a href='http://www.artbyfeng.com/' target='_blank'>Art By Feng</a>
    Feng Zhu is probably one of the best artist and designer I've ever seen! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
    One of my top notch favorite artist out there, I'm deeply in love with his style <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
    I'm sure that he influenced me beyond imagination <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
    Look for a really cool tuto in his "How I Work" section!

    <a href='http://www.sofos.com/adi/' target='_blank'>AdiGra's webpage</a>
    Adi Granov is a really talented artist. If you don't believe me, go check his webpage and you'll see.
    Good tutorial there too, last time I checked, on how this great guy works <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
    I use a very similar technique, even if mine is less evoluted <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    <a href='http://www.megatokyo.com/' target='_blank'>MegaTokyo</a>
    <a href='http://www.fredart.com/' target='_blank'>FredArt</a>
    For ref', even if I think that everybody knows about MT <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
    Fred Gallagher is a pretty good artist too (not as "technical" as the artists mentioned above, some may say though), and he has a very personal way of drawing his characters, and visually express their feelings. I particularly appreciate the "sad girl in snow" serie, wich became a myth among webcomics makers/readers I think <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Well, that's the main things that came to my mind right now but even if it's 2:57 am here, I felt the urge of anwsering to this; 'hope this may prove to be helpful <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
    If there is anything that you would like to know more specifically, or if there's a way I can help you somehow, feel free to ask <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    first the chest of the player like they are ***.
    the legs are to close and the same line , no one jump with the same power in both lags and the falling the legs go to diferent ways, the arms look like they are in a chair resting the arms never are so lined and in this case are moving vibrating beacuse of the gun recoils, the head is too up move or rotating a litle to right and inclinate a little behind think when u fall jump back and call someone to make a movie u will see the body falling and all body like a mumie doll of fabric smashing in the fall.

    Nice, but where are the muzzleflashes and bullets?

    Idea: Some sort of matrix effect would be cool <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Very nice! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
    You did a Good Job, and as such, you've earned a good break <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I think that now that you stated that you've added the final corrections, you should "forget" the pic and turn away to something else. Return to it after a week or two, once you've changed your mind, and loock back a t it: if you are still satisfied, you should let it in it's actual form.

    If you think you can improve something, then you'll most probably see and notice what you would like to be changed on your own. The fact is, if you spend too much time on a work, you may end up not seeing quite clearly the pic (that's why people sometime ask for external advices and comments <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->).

    Once more, good work! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
