JeeR, I'd love to know if there are any resources you can point me towards -- seems you've got some pretty solid storyboarding skills.
Regarding the render, try putting the pistols closer together. Imagine you're trying to shoot simultaneously with two pistols -- you'd want to have them both as close to directly in front of you (so you can sight down the barrels) as possible. You might also make one having just shot and recoiling upwards while the other is firing straight.

His left hand doesn't look like it is holding the pistol firmly and his trigger finger looks a bit big... Well, the fact is, I'm pretty of a self-taught person myself... I can't point you toward real ressources (as in ressource sites) as I can't say I really have any (maybe I should try to look for some more seriously, or even add some to my website), but still I sure can give you links toward great personal sites of real artists (the kind who makes me feel that I still really am a beginner...)

I think that now that you stated that you've added the final corrections, you should "forget" the pic and turn away to something else. Return to it after a week or two, once you've changed your mind, and loock back a t it: if you are still satisfied, you should let it in it's actual form.
If you think you can improve something, then you'll most probably see and notice what you would like to be changed on your own. The fact is, if you spend too much time on a work, you may end up not seeing quite clearly the pic (that's why people sometime ask for external advices and comments ).

The fade should be swiping or something, give a sense of action in the fade
Also, if possible, give him some look on his face. I dunno what, but a bit of a skin alter would be nice.
