The support beam -- amazing, the alien mouth -- too cool, the big pit -- "elite".
Only problem I have is the textures don't fit in just right. Maybe it's because it's WIP, but ya, I know nothing about mapping :\.
I like it. ^_^
There's a lot of stuff in the ready room, but DSH is really good at optimizing so the r_speeds are fine. Up in the corner of the ceiling, taking in the whole room, it peaked around 623... thats the hightest we could get it. When you're down on the floor the r_speeds are negligible.
i'm starting to realize what you mean about some of the textures not fitting right.. some look scaled to large... at the time it saved on polys.. but now it kinda looks funny.. I'm refering to the wall behind the Observation computer.
I was thinking of the doors where you jump in for random. the part where the doors meet would not have warning paint on it. Make it some other gritty, interlocking type texture. like the black 'ventxxxx' texture, which is usually used for trim. also, the wall for the spectating computer, where the 'ladders' are... use ladder textures. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> and make the wall the ladders are on not so stretched, or maybe an entirely different texture. just doesn't work. i would say for the most part the rest of it looks fine. fix that up and give us an update. ^_^
