Aaaaggghhh We Bought A House!

<div class="IPBDescription">The bank now pwns meh. M0rtg4ge h4x!</div> Ok, so the wife and I just bought our first house. We're building it, so I don't have current pictures (although I will likely take the digital camera over there and take pictures over the next 40 or so days before it's done to show progress). To hold everyone over, here are some pictures from the model. It's a townhouse, about 3000 square feet, and is in Raleigh, NC. (for you limey snapperheads - we pronouce it RAHlee, not raw-LAY. Nubs.). Ignore the wallpaper and such in these pics, we're big on dark paint. This is sort of Lisa's decorating project for the next few years, so more power to her. It even has a basement, which is damn near unpossible in North Carolina, and is nice for a midwesterner like me. 4 bedrooms (1 being an office) and 3.5 baths.

    Favorite pic is the one outside the house, showing all the brick and trees...reminds me of why I love my own home so much. Congrats Monse, you're one of the few people I know these days who's making "the big M" (marriage, ya nubs) look like such a good thing.

    Thanks! Best part - being a townhome, I don't have to do lawn work - the homeowners dues pay for little crazy gardeners and landscapers. I spent enough time as a kid mowing lawns (for free! /me shakes fist).

    No, it's not wrong at all.     Uhh.... Either my computer's acting funny and changing links... Or since July 15th, when that ad was posted, the url now leads to a different video, and said video is NOT cool, and does not comply with forum rules, at all... Oh god... Why did I have to be the one to watch it...

    I forgot to mention that. We're getting the whole house pre-wired with CAT5 and cable hookups in every room, plus surround sound in the living room and basement den. H4X MEH H0US3!
