Alright, I finally found a server running ns with just a couple people on who didn't mind me wasting res, so I got some screenies of the new amazing cat pack art. Behold the amazing power of the catalyst!
Yeah.. the Catpack model looks just as I expected it to. Seriously, I drew up a sketch that looked almost exactly like that. The model pretty much explains how it increases the firerate, it doesn't go into just the marine, one tube is for the marine, the other plugs into his weapon. The nanites then modify something inside there to make the gun fire at a faster rate for a short amount of time before the nanites then lose power.
And yes for lerk-flight, you can do loop-the-loops with the right settings in place.....of course you don't want to go looping too much no?
But a question though.....will the lerk model turn upside-down in flight when you do the upside-down cam trick? I remember before the model just distorted itself :/

In combat mode, you respawn exactly as you died. The only incentive not to die, is that dying gives your opponents experience to become stronger than you. It's a matter of upgrading faster than your enemies, not wearing them down.
