hrm, In a close second in game fights comes...the second last battle of serious sam: the second encounter.

Best fight: Me vs ridley, in metriod prime. Took me six tries to beat him, got him on the 7th.
Really, metriod prime (the boss) dissapointed me. Too easy, and i only died once...because i forgot to save in the impace crater <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> Silly Silly me.

Second in movie fights: End of revolutions Neo vs Smith.
Best fight: Lobby scene, quite obvious why <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> From matrix.

ya kno win that game there is a secret wall that opens up and when u go inside it transports you to a movie set and you can see the first Serious Sam end boss battle in fron of that huge pyramid. But all the characters are little 1 inch robots and u can see yourself lol.

    Best fights?

In terms of general butt kicking, the very end of Jet Li's The One . "I am nobodys ****, you are all mine!"

In LOTR 1, When Boromir dies. He keeps on swinging even when hes full of arrows.

And lastly Id have to say. the last surviving Light Armour LMG marine vs the Onos In the game I saw 2 weeks ago. After watching that I just about died with laughter.

other than those, Equilibrium has some good scenes. Gun Jitsu > all. Especially that bit where he smacks those soldiers up with the spikey butts on his gun. The "Clonk clonk clang CLONK!" from that scene just made me laugh.

When I fought my grandma. She was all, "I'm gonna knock you down a peg or two, punk" and I was like, "Bring it, <i>****</i>" and then we were kung fu fighting, breaking out all the moves, no holds barred, lock up your daughters. We fought for ten hours straight, then she managed to break my guard and roundhouse me through the wall.

My second favourite fight is probably in Samurai Jack. It only lasts about five seconds, but packed full of awesomeness - it's the one where the mercenaries (Boris, the Gentleman, and others) set up an ambush for Jack.

the covenant lose quite frequently towards the end of the game, particularly in the "two betrayals" level.

in the snow drifts, there are two pretty large-scale land battles before the HUGE epic battle, but in those earlier two the covenant get whooped hardcore. it's great to watch through a sniper rifle.

i'm not proud of any of my human fights, so.. whatever.

another note, the man mentioning FF8 has some taste =]

the most badass fight ever though, would have to be either

    -Leon vs. badguys
    or
    -The Bride vs. O-ren.

    umaa..!! UMAAA!!!! *_*!!!!

Hmm, probably the last boss in Chrono trigger. Changing behaviour(and to some degree appearance) to previous bosses you had beaten was completely new to me. And, possibly better, fighting MasaMune in the mountain of wind... first time you hear the 2nd boss theme too, oh boy. And Magus of course. But only because he has a cool intro.

    Best movie fight...uhum...
...sorry, can't think of any right now...
    I'll get back to ya.

I dunno, the final boss was a bit of a letdown for me. I utterly obliterated it.

I thought Magus was the most interesting boss. The frikkin' huge dino boss was good, too.

Then again, I did do some serious stat-buffing in the stone age. It paid off; luminaire rocks. Spamming luminaire pretty much destroys anything in your path.

I dont know if many of you watch those older asian videos that come across when a actor becomes big here. In this case, it was Jet Li and the movie was Fist of Legends. I thought all the fights were great. He pulls a Neo fighting dozens of guys without breaking a sweat. The best fight was of course against the main bad guy. When he whips out his belt and starts smacking the guy with a ninja sword in the face, must be seen <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Very stylishly done by Blizzard.

Someone might have posted this already, but I think I speak for everyone when I say <b>Fight Club</b> has some pretty kick **** fight scenes in it....

    Great movie.

Yup, Metal Gear had a load of awesome fights.

    Snake vs. Grey Fox(YAY)

Snake + Raiden(Something about fighting along side the legendary Solid Snake is just awesome.)

Snake vs Liquid(Every time you fight Liquid, it's like he's unstoppable)

I also really liked that last battle in Lord of the Rings:Two Towers.

    Trigun:

When Vash fights the big muscular guy with that orange faceplate, and all those crazy things on his back(Vash freaked out! It was awesome!)

When Vash fights the Saxaphone player and Legato(the end was so original and great)

    Rurouni Kenshin:

Kenshin vs. Saito(Saito is the greatest villian(hmm) ever. Among my favorite fights ever.)

Kenshin vs. Mineh(I love how that battle turned out)

Kenshin vs. Sano(gave a peer into Sano's brain!)

Sano vs. Anji(the way both went past their physical limits, and the way the win was determined rocked)

Kenshin vs. Soujiro(Kenshin breaks Soujiro's mind!)

Saito vs. Wolfguy(dont know his name(SAITO IS INCREDIBLE))

Kenshin vs. Shishio(This single battle is seriously the greatest event in recorded history.)

Now that I think of it, name a battle from Rurouni Kenshin, and I'll probably like it.

    ...Shampoo?

    ......

Most of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I particularly liked that fight where they're fighting each other's feet at the same time as they fight each other's hands.

In terms of real fights... I went to a karate tournament a while ago (to watch. I'm not quite good enough to compete just yet). Anyways, the fighting was pretty cool. The odd thing is that the adults seemed very restrained, like they were scared of each other. The kids, on the other hand, fought tooth and nail.
