As much of that "gimme NOW!" attitude I see around here, coupled with rude, unconstructive criticism, it's a wonder there are any custom items made at all, especially since you aren't repaying us anything for our efforts but that rudeness.

I do modelling too, but no skinning etc, I would like to animate this beauty, and hopefully help get it out to the public ASAP without comprimising the awesomework put into it, so if somebody could hook me up with the skinned milkshape3D compliant model, I will get crackin. I dont have much to do these winter holidays, and it would be nice to see this up for release as a present.

On a lighter note, thanks to Sushi, the <a href='http://home.fuse.net/brimstone/spiketest05.jpg' target='_blank'>v_model</a> looks better. I'm smoothing out the idle and reload sequences, and then have to so the heavy version. At this angle, the taper effect doesn't seem to be too bad...

I dont know nuts about modeling tho, but is there anyway to bring the gun higher -right now its like shooting from the hip- w/o clipping?

I think it should be left to the origins in the latest pic. They look right for an HMG,since it would be hella hard to shoulder one, even tho it looks a little small.

heh.. Actually, I used the skeleton from the gator LMG for the ref model- and those origins produced the first "vee" pic- they look great for the gator, but this model is fatter at the base. Another problem if I raise it too high is that it loses a lot of detail in the reload sequence, as it goes offscreen. Did some playtesting and tweaking last night, maybe a progress pic later today...
