    No - NS was intended to be an all-audience game. There are some 'nasty-looking' custom models out there, though.

    Just out of curiousity, and Honestly I wont insult you or anything... How old are you? Cause I used to play alot more violent games than NS when I was 12 *cough* Mortal Kombat *cough*, and they never bothered me in the slightest

    Then when he asks you to do things with him say "I was gonna play NS...its a great game" stuff like that. MAKE him want to play him, gotta focus on the mind man.....

    The most that happens is some green goo on the walls opposite of where you fired, and maybe some red stuff as you munch a marine. Other then that, it's REALLY clean. Especially compared to regular HL. And especially compared to some other mods out there...

    I dont think that aliens are scary. The models are great, though. They look just like some nasty aliens. I think that NS is more like exciting. It's very exciting to sneak around a hive, hearing alien footsteps, grunts, taunts, knowing that any moment an evil alien could run around the corner, ready to bite your head off...

    naw that might be alittle too "violent and gorey" for his friend, he should go for something along the lines of sesame street

    edit: and are u sure your friend is a boy? i mean i could understand if hes 8 years of age or under, but if he thinks NS is too scary i think you two are alittle too young to be playing HL which is more gory and "scary"

    and besides if your friend is a guy smack him over the head and say "get over it you [cat]"
