Angel you missunderstand how this retro-cs was bulit, he used a publice released beta and Hexedited the code, so i don´t think its worth anything, it doesn´t help you fixing bugs if u saw them, you have to see the sc (source..) to see whats wrong, sometimes it is just a missing letter or sth like that, there is really no use for the rc´s for u to learn...
Angel, you're best bet is to wait for NS's release, then Flay might be more open to giving it out. I do have some of the old RCs on my computer, but I won't give them to others until v1 is out and I get the word from above to send them.
Even then, it'll be one confusing jubble of install files and the like without the passwords.
I forgot who said it, but he had the "blue soldier in circle" avatar. The Release Candidates are not the same as Beta versions of CS.
The oldschool CS things you are talking about are the public betas that EVERYONE played. You know, b6.5, b7.0, etc. RCs of CS probably were never played by the public. The whole point is that RCs are not release finals because they're so buggy.
I think you have this a bit mixed up, the beta's you have of cs are beta. That means that NS Version 1.0 will be the equal of CS Beta 1. The only time that the stakes are changed is when there is a difference is professionalism (beta to version). So, I don't think that this will really go into any effect until NS has an actually change in title, or alot of releases. The RC's that we play, are for testing only.
Quality-wise, NS RC1 would be about the same quality as CS beta 1. NS version 1 is like CS version 1, a product that's as finished as it gets. The big difference is that NS never released the buggy unstable beta versions to the public - that's what the playtesters were here for. Trust me, the reason nobody HAS rc1-8 except PTs is that any RC before about 6 was not properly playable, or not playable at all.
Hy, I get the picture now, if Flayra wants to release them or not to me or anyone else its his idea. Lets forget it now, also pls check out me map layout at . . .

I have backups of ALL the NS installs and patches, including ALL the release candiates. For your information that's 27 exe files, totaling 805 meg. Only problem is getting the installer passwords and server passwords, which I haven't got or have not kept organized.
I can't see the harm in sharing this once version 1 is out, but of course I will have to abide by Flayra's decision.
