Looks to be a decent build I'll keep my comments to myself since I havnt tried it yet and theres no real way I could know if this screws up the game or balances it but whatever a new build means their that much closer to release.
I don't see what all the fuss is about with regards to the scriptblocking feature. It is a <b>server variable</b>.
If you're going "Oh no! How will I ever live without my demo-script/toggle-use-script/whatever-script", just play on servers where the setting is on its default value, ie: <b>scriptblocking off</b>.
If you're an annoying whiner who's constantly complaining about how scripts take no skill to use, even though you don't even know how they work, just play on servers where <b>scriptblocking is on</b>.
If anything, this should get both those categories of people to finally just shut up and go play the damn game. You both get what youy want, now shut up about it please, the issue is resolved.

I could never imagine using the arrow keys. I mean, I used to back when I first got into PC FPS gaming, but I switched to WASD and it just seems so much better.
Now the onos is real balanced and all but the Marines have nothing that they really fear from the aliens now. If the onos is taken down moderately easily then what else will they worry about? Im talking unit wise.

I don't know about any others but some of the bugs I've read and heard and experienced for myself can be very useful and not exploits lol.
Well come to think of it I guess it would be exploiting if yer making use of a bug to your advantage.
ONE of the "best" bugs I've seen and used was quite fun for afew.That bug was "Where Commander wasn't ejected after CC was destroyed.
The reason I find this bug useful is I think you can still build things (assuming ya have the res) and come back fighting the aliens,building a new base etc.
A secret to this could have been used if the bug was still present.
Ok during game hoping the aliens don't find it,is to build an observatory in some odd place plus a CC if you wish. Then when aliens destroy yer base and yer still "logged" into the CC I believe you can distress beacon in yer fallen comrades assuming aliens didn't build anything in the destroyed base and start building the base back up.<!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

You mean locational damage, and no, this is never going in. I have heard distant rumours about the onos's headplate taking <i>less</i> damage in a future version, but NS will never have super-awesome-mega-w00tage headshots, then we're just heading into CS territory.

I could never imagine using the arrow keys. I mean, I used to back when I first got into PC FPS gaming, but I switched to WASD and it just seems so much better.

I don't know about any others but some of the bugs I've read and heard and experienced for myself can be very useful and not exploits lol.
Well come to think of it I guess it would be exploiting if yer making use of a bug to your advantage.
ONE of the "best" bugs I've seen and used was quite fun for afew.That bug was "Where Commander wasn't ejected after CC was destroyed.
The reason I find this bug useful is I think you can still build things (assuming ya have the res) and come back fighting the aliens,building a new base etc.
A secret to this could have been used if the bug was still present.
Ok during game hoping the aliens don't find it,is to build an observatory in some odd place plus a CC if you wish.

I'm left-handed and I have to use my mouse with my right hand, it's so much better. Also: I use the arrow keys; they're indentical to WASD but more defined and spacious.

It has always had hitboxes, otherwise you wouldn't be able to hit ANYTHING.
You mean locational damage, and no, this is never going in. I have heard distant rumours about the onos's headplate taking <i>less</i> damage in a future version, but NS will never have super-awesome-mega-w00tage headshots, then we're just heading into CS territory.
