<div class="IPBDescription">HERE THEY ARE PLAIN AND SIMPLE</div> Ok everyone was asking about this and when I posted earlier they didint want to read through all the code themselves so here they are in plain english.


*Prays they are all right (all the ones I tested worked for me)

to use them. in console type

bind key "impulse number"

EXAMPLE

bind h "impulse 11"

So now when in game and you press the h key whatever will happen


NOTE: Some impulse binds have dual meanings such as the marine voice comms when as aliens they will make alien voice sounds.

Also there are more impulse key bindings then keys on your keyboard. Just get the ones u want. I just have the marine voice chats binded myself.

Most of the alien gorge structure dropping and marine commander impulses can be binded in the NS Controls section.

    Ok I went back and redid it so its a little easier to read...



    Chuckle im 90% sure is one of the double binds as impulse 7 (marine "follow me" will take care of it.)

    these arent really "scripts" they are found in the NS UI.txt file coding itself.

    These are just the console versions of short cuts.

    Binds for all the stuff they could not fit in the controls section under options.

    yea i kno what they are, i was being sarcastic.

    but in the 3.0 changelog, it said these commands were blocked in order to prevent scripting, ima test some of those commands now to find out myself

    I think what nessy is trying to say is that *if* the blockscripts server variable is turned on (whatever it is), double binding won't work.

    By default, mwheelup is bound to invprev and mwheeldown is bound to "impulse 1", which is why scrolling down pulls out the next weapon and scrolling up brings up the previous weapon, but you have to click to actually select it. What is the command to pull out the previous weapon and have it already selected? I know in 2.01 you could use 'bind mwheelup "invprev; wait; +attack; wait; -attack" ', but that probably doesn't work anymore with the script blocking option, so I was wondering if there was an impulse option or any other way of making it work.

    did you enable "Fastchange" option int he advanced options?

    Yes, I set hud_fastswitch 1. That only affects when you press the number keys to change weapons; in other words, that only applies when you are changing to a specific weapon, not when you want to go to the previous or next weapon in the cycle.

    There's a couple missing from the list. In NS:C, you can choose to upgrade your hive-2 and hive-3 abilities. Anyone know what the impulse(s) are for that?

    Im not gonna do it, but just bind numlock to something in the options menu and then go check out that entry in your config.

    At <a href='http://www.csnation.net/view.php/csinfo/scripting/basic-bindlisting.csn' target='_blank'>CSNation</a> there's a complete list of bindable keys (I guess it's the same for most mods).     where are the alien voices?! i think impulse 9 is a snarl, and.. impulse 7 is the chuckle.. or do i have that mxed up..?

    Someone had an excellent thread awhile ago with all of the Impulses for the old 1.04 Alien sounds (which are now bound in my config, yay!)

    Impulse 7 through 12.
    Either 7 or 9 is the Chuckle. The impulse for the Marine Taunt is some kind of "Haaaaaaaawrh.." sound that's like Lerk flight.
    12 is my favorite, though.
