    lol, i have a rats co_ map in progress myself, just haven't had time to work on it much lately :/ Looking good so far.

    I had an idea for one way back when, where instead of fighting in a NS room, you'd be fighting around the insides of an RT, or something. I think that'd be too complicated to ever get made though.

    Right now I'm worried about Marine dominance, so I'm trying to add things in the way and some little areas that only skulks/lerks can get to.

    It'll be a challenge but I hope it turns out fun.

    Make little bits of infestation hang down that you can climb on, not ladders.
    Ahh, i remember all the TFC rat maps, they were good. But an NS one, man, lerks and jetpackers.. JP with hmg is going to rip the place up!

    I myself have a co map under production, beta screenies up soon (I half a 20 minute compile ahead before I can take them, and the map isn't even done)

    Back to topic, I really like how the infested area is in the wall like that, looks cool.
    And instead of the premade {ladders make some out of brushes, they look alot better and can blend into the wall better also.

    I say the map should be made so you fight against eachother on top of a TF. That would be really neato.

    I like those pre-made ladders... anyway it's a fun map I mean I don't want it to be hideous but I don't really care how it looks... I'm worried about how it will play out.

    Well, you should add a lot more stuff on the ground, right now, it seems very open and it'll be hell for skulks.

    For stuff to put on the floor, how about some "giant" medpacks or ammo packs on the ground. That would go well with the theme.

    You definitely need smaller, tighter spaces or aliens will get owned, hard. And make sure that the hive can't be shot from a distance as well; it looks a little vulnerable from the lower entrance.

    Yea, I'm definetly struggling with balance, coil. I need some thoughts from the community on how to get skulks across the floor without getting owned...

    And yes, I have to add a "shield" of infestation or something because rines can lvl up quick by hitting the hive from across the floor at certain angles, this will be fixed before it is released, rest assured.

    First rats map for natural selection! Even if there are problems with balance this is gonna be so much fun. Dark Ati maybe you could have a ventilation system on the ceiling that can be accessed by vents. That way skulks can drop down from the openings in the ventilation system down onto the heads of unsuspecting marines.

    I don't know why people keep saying first _rats map for NS because there have been at least two maps I played in previous versions that had the same setup.

    Having said that I like this map a lot with the funky setup. Adding some stuff on the ground from the game like giant versions of weapons or grenades or the Skull of a Onos would give the Aliens more cover.
