1) Lower the speed of the onos charge by half

4) Make Xenocide work in hive areas only
But seriously, if they got webs, the alien team should be tedious; but as it stands right now, the marine team still have a very good chance of coming back from three hives, as opposed to aliens coming back from a two hive lockdown against top-tier marine technology.
Hive three abilities are already quite weak, nerfing webs would make things worse.

I've found that nadespam usually takes care of webs. And anything that gives marines more incentive to weld is good.
It's probably best used for stopping jp rambos, which I think you would agree, need stopping.
I belive he's refering to combat.

Honestly, it's a bit energy dependant to be able to web someone and spit them to death. Web doesn't seem to last as long as it used to. It's easier to web a marine and wait for backup to come for an easy snack.
As for it having to go, I think it's fine as is. I hate the fact that grenade launchers can take them down (making gls pretty universal), but it does keep the JP rambos down who think bouncing around a hive room shotgunning skulks makes them "leet". <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

even with gl and web, gorges can keep spamming webs to lock down the marines
had this happen a few times, me + 2 or 3 marines moving in a group, gorge starts spamming web around us, bringing welder out is semi-useless as you get disabled again as soon as the gorge gets another web up, ridiculous if you ask me
it is just like a marine GL spamming and campin at marine start with a few shotties camping.
fhere was this match i had which the gorges did mass webbing like wat u had described...but gorges got owned by th GLs which were deployed by the marines

Welders seem to fail all the time, the number of times ive had my welder out and still been webbed makes me want to cry.
make welders like they were in 1.04, if your welder is out and your holding fire webs shouldnt hit you, no matter which way your looking.
right now it seems if the welder isnt dead on the web (even sometimes when it is) you likely to be webbed, which just sucks when youv gone to the trouble of upgrading welder (and are using it correctly!)
perhaps gorgs shouldnt be allowed to activly web aswell, I mean; no throwing webs directly onto marines?
if you stand still a gorg shouldnt be able to hold you indefinatly [imho].

The real problem here is that once again, we're trying to balance combat and forgetting NS.
Also if we got rid of web what would you suggest gorges get for a 4th wep, babblers again?
Gorges WERE removed from combat (aka webs were removed), and yah know what.
They had to be put back in to balance the game out.
I ONLY play gorge (well sometimes super skulk) in CO, and trust me, though I am a good webber I still can't hold off THAT many rines at one time.
It generasly works better as a suport/trap weapon.
Web+SoF = no one ever gets near my hive with out me (generaly) being able to atleast slow em down.
However, with the amount of crapy gorges out there (those that put 10 webs in one doorway, and make it bloody obvious), I don't know why any one would ever complain about web.
Yes, it is frusterationg to have a gorge hold you down till the skulk bites off your face... but then again getting stomped sucks just as much (if not more) and it is a 2 3rd slot weapon.
Instead of nerfing/removing webs I send out a plea to all silly gorges to learn HOW to web:
Drop one line acrose a brite/white well traversed floor.
If you have JP Problems, a single web near the top of a door and one of the floor should cover em.
it forces organized teamwork making combat more like a faster paced game of classic without the building parts
combat is supposed to fun and not as team based as classic
aliens dont have to suffer under the excruciating process of getting a team to work together, why must marines
you just shot down all your arguments.
CO is STILL suposed to be team based.
If either team gets teamwork going then they are gona do ALOT better.
Georges REALY need a decent team t oback em up (As they can't just plop down an OC to kill the rine as the web him down)
This is what I normaly do:
Get SoF, Regen, Web
Sit in Hive and basicaly tell my team mates WHERE rines are comming from, and then web em up.
If my team dosn't do anytihng about my nice little packages I eventualy mess up (or another rine comes along and nades me)
so basicaly gorge web encourages Rines to use Team work... THIS IS A GOOD THING!.
Since then, web has been moved to 3rd hive and seriously nerfed. It now takes 2+ seconds from a web being laid until it can catch anything, it only lasts 4(?) seconds instead of 6, and the limits on number of webs laid is much lower.

never saw any teamwork in co... combat is not a teamplay based mode, you can if you want but it is not required at all.
I think gorges should be removed from co along with welders, nearly all the game i played without anyone welding/healing was around 10min and was really cool, as soon as a gorge/welder comes,the game become endless and boring for aliens and marines.
For the HA, i think it should only be considered in combat only as a powerfull armor not a weldable armor like classic.
And i wonder why xp for welding/healing was put back in...
