The reload animations looks a bit weird and there is no HA model...

btw: for the reload-animation... I still think the lower "barrel" is the mag... and it's NOT a underslung nade launcher... also i noticed a muzzleflash problem, its fixed now so redownload.
also i mean sounds that fit the reload animation.

Personal opinion : Model is too "bulky". Skin looks like someones just got dodge/burn tools and gone made all over it. Animations are nice though.

EDIT: Ok, just played some maps with it and the reload doesnt bother me AT ALL. The thing that do though have already been mentioned by Jaeger....
/edit also those guns dont really look like the gauss rifle much at all, except it has 2 barrels. it has that handle lookin thing, and different textures, and the barrel is different.

You must know little about photoshop then. Each of the skin .PSD files have about 20 layers and the only time I used burn or dodge was for the base shadowing for depth. It looks bulky because john doe gave it bad origins which I don't like myself. That screenshot makes it look terrible because of jpeg compression and his gamma/brightness. Don't post screenshots for other people's releases unless they okay it and especially don't post bad ones like that. That ticks me off.
The idle animation also needs some work. Here's an idea: Grab a broomstick, pipe, or whatever, and hold it in your hands. Try to simulate the current origins. Then, slowly, lower your arm to mimic the idle animation, paying close attention to how your shoulder bends and where your elbow is going.
General concept is great, can't really say much other than work on the skin for the magazine well and the mag itself; I'm getting the impression that you have a mechanism on the inside of the weapon extracting the rounds as the magazine (which in this case would classify as a clip) as it falls through the bottom of the gun and into a helical repository in the back. Nice work.
Seeing as most of the people who use the SC Marines as Heavy models, _hv arms are a must. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
<b>File:</b> Even if it were "hot", which by itself doesn't match with the concept of a gauss rifle as a "cool firing" device, the heat would be coming from the barrel of the weapon, not from a magazine. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
