    nah dont need sounds ripped from the game, need sounds for the reload! theres already a sound pack out with the fire sound in it.

    My HMG sound from Anarchy Online fits perfectly, in my opinion.
    The cooldown which sounds like a spinning helicopter gun isn't actual spinning, I think. At least not spinning barrels.
    No gun in AO uses spinningbarrels.

    I PM'd John Doe with the sound, or you can search for Anarchy or AO in the Custom forum. I'm sure you'll find it.

    Someone posted a sound that actually sounds like the SC weapon that was nice...we should use something like that not a sound from 'Anarchy Online'.

    I made a reload sound with parts from Anarchy Online (my o great source <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ), but it sounds kind of weird...

    Perhaps if I skin the clip to look like some sort of data chip or something that recharges the gun.

    i have the sc dvd ill watch it and find out about the gun... its a nice dvd... and im bored... dunno audio commentary didnt say anything, but im it was probobly that guy, models not bad, lacks detail i think, too short, and those arch things that come up arent far enough off of the gun, theres also supposed to be holes in the barrel, but its good i know those holes are like impossible to make with ms3d but 3ds can do it. i was working on a gauss rifle in 3ds but my hdd got killed and i lost is :cries:

    Is it possilbe to put a sort of ammo counter on the gauus rifle? Cause in the Brood War intro I remeber an ammo counter, I also think it would add more flavor to the gun......Just my 2 cents

    it was discussed in a previous thread, and yes there could be a counter, but the numbers wouldnt change. there would have to be a seperate animation for each shot for that to be done.

    I think it would be alright if you didnt make a different animation for each shot. I had a m41 model b4 and it had a counter. It would always show 50 rounds, would go show "--" when it was fired, and show "RD" when it was reloading. only showing 50 didnt really bother me, as I tend to either use up all my ammo or immedialty reload after shooting. Besides, didnt use it to know how much ammo I had since the hud counter is there, but some ppl might be more picky......
