Persistent/sandbox survival game mode... storms and creatures periodically damage your base forcing you to be clever and start over...

So, that is an example of other (which is in this case almost a combination of all three). -
Just to be really out there:
Why not have a pod/station that can transfer momentum to an additional dimensions and then harvest it... Kind of like a giant flywheel or spring.
So you'd have a pod with apparent anti-gravity - b… -
I suspect it would act as a fast-travel system similar to the portals.

The seamoth has the most agility.
The PRAWN is the most exciting.
The cyclops requires planning to pilot... a bit of thought and skill.
Honestly, I wish there was a difficulty setting that made them all harder to pilot … -
I agree with your list!
I'm still hoping for a mod that randomises predator aggression (so sometimes they aren't aggressive) and/or makes reapers temporarily appear in other parts of the map so they still surprise me...

I really hope so! It'd be great if it could damage shallow bases!
Dive deep for shelter! -
Cool! I didn't know that one could do anything along those lines.

In terms of requested features... the ideal thing might be to integrate it with a mod which allows one to put out the coordinates of all beacons in one's game.
That'd be a lot of extra work - but it would make it easy to show where locat… -

I suppose - so it is just the stupid human which depletes the population through being unable to learn that avoiding them is better than grabbing silver? -
Crash Fish - they stress me and don't seem physiologically plausible (i.e. they end up basically extinct because their self-defense mechanism is literally dying) thus damaging my immersion.

That was commissioned by a youtuber... it is an artist's conception of what the extinct lost river leviathan might have looked like - but it is nothing official! -
The top one is probably inspired by Sea Angels (Gymnosomata) mixed with a cuttlefish!

It is interesting to compare your work with this project: https://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/comment/2362882#Comment_2362882
Cool! Very neat. I'll check this out when I do my first modded playthrough.
Is it possible to grow plants outdoors on land? Or is that still impossible?Well, it does have some value in that we can see what people guessed before the canon...
Are you just miffed we aren't a member of the support crew?On the one hand it is a dystopian catch-22 (and punishment for not deserting!)
On the other hand - I do wonder how much inflation has taken place by the time of the story? Like - how much does a bagel cost?(Quote)
Better visibility where it matters as well.I always thought the Seamoth would work better upside down.Technically you can almost do this - if you build a base too close to the ruins they will permanently disappear (be warned)! You could then reconstruct a base on that spot.(Quote)
Please make it be a lot!
Seriously, I want Subnautica development to continue to be fundedIsn't there quite a bit of evidence that the precursors had merged with machines?(Quote)
Ah, but we know there are is no plankton detected in the Void!
Could be some kind of reverse ocean 'snow'. Instead of material falling from surface plankton to the bottom one might have material rising upwards from chem…UpdatedWasn't it originally that Alum and Minium were considered separate things? I was reading a 17th century paper on Swedish ore deposits in the Annals of the Royal Society which strongly gave me that impression. If they add a hovercraft it better be able to take the small fish tank and put amp-eels in it!The thing that would get me really excited would be a new feature: Like weather or seasons or creatures attacking bases.
Especially if it is something that allows for more persistent survival gameplay.I rather enjoyed this - although when I tried the first version I found the sunrays seemed too strong.
Is there any chance at maintaining or increasing visibility distance while lowering ambient light? Or would that have to be done throu…I'd just be happy if bases/wrecks didn't despawn if you built a base too close to them!
