I doubt F2P will help at this point, it might increase the average but i think the game has only ever managed to keep its core fans,it always drops to between 600 to 1000 players which is pretty much all there's ever really been or likely to be.
Any chance we'll see some noteworthy updates again or is this as good as it gets for combat?
Still hope we might see a buildmenu and combat mvm one day, finding ns2 in general is getting a bit stale.It must suck to have worked on a decent mod like this and have it hardly played, i think i only managed to get one game a few months ago.
Im not sure who's to blame more, uwe for their poor mod support or the community for not really bot…Still haven't managed to get it out yet, i think it's now been a whole year?

To be frank even if the creator does get around to finishing it (poor show making us wait so long...) i doubt it will get played much judging by other mods, look at how much work…Great map, especially with marine start, i sometimes wonder if ns2 would be more popular today if they went with the more interesting themes of biodome, descent and eclipse instead of refinery and mineshaft, i really never liked the dark theme and i…Any updates?
I thought this was going to be out by now, it's nearly December...While priorities are important i think ns2 is generally in a decent enough state that many would like to see useful features and loads of smaller bugs fixed, i mean if they don't take that much time why not?

It's useful features and stuff like this people like and we don't see enough of, no excuse really.Cool, so a few things to try for improved balance, remove the wait time on exo, it may have been ok at one point but things have changed and it now feels really unfair when a fade or skulk can attack without consequence, fades take you down to under…It's been this way since release, might have been worse at one point, just shoot a gun and hear the reverb afterwards, i think many would agree it's not good.(Quote)
Im not talking about compression or sound quality, im pretty sure reverb is an audio engine effect applied to the sounds, the current setting makes a horrible sound after you shoot which is way louder than a reverb should be, take …Could you take a look at the sound and see if you can tone down the horrible reverb the game has, shoot a gun and listen...(Quote)
This is quite true and sad, are they so oblivious to what's going on or simply don't care? At this point i guess it doesn't matter, ns2 is going to slowly die from here on, sure it will idle along with a few hundred players but is…It makes me laugh when a community member fixed a load of bugs uwe should have, excuses about small team etc aside, i think they could bang out loads of minor improvements like this by now to make ns2 a much more polished and better experience, it's…One thing i've always disliked about the sound is the horrible over the top reverb, id remove it or make it subtle, reverb isnt meant to be in your face loud, it is meant to give a feeling of space without you noticing.You guys should really give this one last update to fix the balance at least because it's not good, exos are quite weak and probably have been for sometime but something feels different since the last few patches, the start up time needs to be remov…Nice mod, you can see a lot of thought and work has gone into it already, feels like a proper mod with all the changes to the hud and weapons/powerups, though it's a shame this didn't appear months ago because i doubt it will get played much now jud…Good luck and thanks for combat, it's kind of a shame it never got some of the addons it had from ns1 like buildmenu or xmenu but i understand why you're moving on.
