I built my latest base in a crater found at the rock bottom of the Blood Kelp Trench. It is quite literally pitch black.

I was very disappointed with scrapping of base defense. I thought they would refine the system to be less annoying and more engaging, not just give up and remove it.

I prefer not having to stuff plants into my power room every 5 minutes. Reactor rods really aren't expensive for what they yield.
