I really don't like how power is handled for Sea Bases at the moment, but first off, from what I understand is Sea Base models don't have shadow applied to them, so they always look normally visible. On the other hand, things like your hands,…

From what I have read, multiplayer is considered, but at the end of the game development, and only if its feasibly possible without causing too many problems. It's not really a priority right now, but optimism is nice that they could

@Hydrophobic I was going to bring up the fact about knives being essential, but I'm not that knowledgeable in that area, so thank you for bringing it up. But also,…

It's easier just to figure out why steam 'won't work' on your computer rather than try to get it without steam. This is an early access game using the features of steam. If you are on the experimental build of the game, which I do recommend, it upda…

Honestly, the world as it currently is seems just fine to live in. To change the ecosystem of (relatively) untainted planet would not really be wise, as logically, everything has grown, adapted, and survived due to the environment, and as things cha…

Currently, each tool has one job, be it make light, build stuff, weld stuff, cut stuff, freeze stuff, push stuff, or grab stuff. Each tool is specific to one job. When there are already acceptable alternatives to do all the things listed.
After pondering a bunch of replies to word out, I decided that it's best to suggest that you wait and see what the background story to the game is first. There is just so many things that would be illogical about having other crashed ships on the pl…I've been reading some stuff of a Cyclops recharging method being considered, but the power system still leaves so much to be desired overall. But power cells are not /that/ labor intensive to make, still. 2 Quartz, 4 Acid Mushrooms, 2 Copper. Using…I'll agree, one of the reasons I don't play hardcore myself if because of the lack of notification. I don't see any real reason to not have that regardless of the mode, like you said, we have a talking PDA, who can detect radiation and all that stuf…Seems a bit too complicated and impractical. Just kinda makes me think... Why?I'm kinda blown away. I'm against lethal weapons in this game, but a knife is just one of the most basic tool for survival. For the people who mention using knife to break rocks, any other tool can break rocks in one hit. Then again, this entire thr…(Quote)
Yes, the flashlight was indeed mentioned, but it didn't go into any detail. Additionally, flashlights are not the only thing discussed here.
Thank you for your constructive contribution to the thread all the same though…(Quote)
As it stands flares are currently not very practical as mentioned, due to their the quantity needed and the danger involved. They also take up too much space to be useful.Personally I'd like to see different male options in addition. I'm personally not a fan of having a mohawk with blue highlights, so a female would be nice as well!Comparing Subnautica's map to any other games map is like apples and oranges. Quality over quantity as stated. Instead of making everything bigger, having new diverse biomes to explore would add tremendous value to the game. Having generated landsca…
