Yeah as much as I loved playing Subnautica I'm not going to format Windows for it, especially if it could happen again.

OP specified clearly a different issue than yours, which is coincidentally also my issue. You reach the game in the loading screen - he and I can't even get that far, the game window is just a tiny bar that stops responding.
