Well, the lag HAS been fixed, but not completely. I hardly get severe lag and the severe lag I do get lasts for only 2-5 seconds. And the minor lag I get (only small drops in FPS) is not common either.
I cannot speak for everyone however… -
Actually they said they're gonna get it out as soon as possible and they're working on the save/load issues as well.

Yeah and I can actually go through a Creepvine forest without having to worry about lag spikes when gathering creepvine seed clusters

I'm afraid I don't have this bug. The worst I've had is my game taking almost 5 minutes to actually save. But that's it.

I haven't had this issue at all, but all I can really suggest is SAVE before you do the open/close thing or save before you do something or go into an area in which you think you might die, so if you do, you don't lose your stuff.
