I have i similar problem.
Playtime 18hrs - then a crash - then i become a save game which is more then 6hrs old.

It's definitely not the terraforming.
My second game is now damaged 13hrs playtime..........
I had built no base for the two storage stands.

My game is also crashing constantly after 2 or 3 minutes.
