Notes.
Aside from keys, we see virtually no loose artifacts.
We see no obvious item storage.
We see no evidence of vehicles, so we can surmise they were capable of locomotion and at least brief survival in the open water conditions… -
I always start at the floating island beach, then build out and down. You can build anything of any size in open water.

We mastered fire, electricity, and can build things that make spaces COLDER than they should be. We have doubled the life span of individuals and can replace entire sections of our bodies.
Face it. Our race is made up o… -
I'm still seeing very little in the way of consideration for the Neo-Luddites. Can we please just get a seat or two in whatever warped representative chamber has been dreamed up? Or do we have to eat our way to being a higher proportion of the total…

I always build at least a starter base off the beach of the floating island and into the water. The huge expanse of water allows for unlimited size, and it has immediate access to the deep reef for exploration.

Crab squid. The superior brain power and manipulating limbs allow a substantial degree of possibility.

Quill, of the Neo-Luddites, abstains.
Without civility, our attempts at government are farce. I will be happy to resume negotiations when conflict is replaced by civility. -
I was already quite familiar with Subnautica. Had been playing for about 2 months. Not much was left out there that could get my heart racing.
Then my Cyclops sank.
I was heading due Southwest, to the Grand Reef. I was drifti… -
Ahem. Sirs and Madams. I can't help but notice a distinct LACK of consideration for the Neo-Luddites. Now, you wouldn't be planning on marginalizing us, are you? We may be anti-technology, but I promise you: our strategems are extremely advanced. An…

Mine is a creation of my own. I call it the Quill, and it is meant to represent the freedom of flight and the power of writing to create beauty. All while evoking the silhouette of a multi-winged angel.

I can agree to that. -
The prawn is a true all-terrain vehicle. With its jump jets and grapple arm, it can get just about anywhere. But forklifts can still move far more weight, making them perfect for the warehouse work of inner-craft cargo.

Distinguished representatives, might I propose we move on to the issue of basic rights. We have yet to enshrine a core value system into our founding document.

I am deeply loathe or any embrace of the alien technology. However, in the interest of progress, my party is willing to make compromise. We are willing to agree to limited research on some technology, assuming the following conditions are met and ma…

Great. More scrap to rain down in our beautiful ocean.

A constitution is not written by a guy who goes to the back with a notebook and pen after every meeting.
A constitutional draft is a beleaguered process spent debating over the finest minutia of every single line. The merest … -
It is entirely possible to play Subnautica without having to bring direct harm to an animal. The nutrient blocks and water in the starting storage are sufficient to cover the player until they can start farming produce, and there is no material that…

I am pleased we are locating mutually acceptable ground.
A system of recall procedures would be quite helpful toward this goal. While proper recall procedures may take some time to carry out, it would be an easy note th… -

Yay. -
My distinguished NVP representative.
Would you be willing to consider greater federalism if we write reasonable accountability clauses into our constitution? That should help support your goal of increased individual and local power, and give … -
Secure and manage resources securely and uniformly over a large area. Investment in public goods to a degree beyond the reasonable spending of more profit-minded entities. Manage international trade and relations in a timely fashion. Raise, fund, an…

It is good that thus far many of our goals are overlapping. But we must deal with a difficult question:
What shall we do about the multitude of areas and creatures that won't be participating in this convention? Drafting a constitution that do… -
You can head northeast to find the mountain island. The outcrops here can give you the diamond you desperately need for a repair tool. You can head southwest from the lifepod for the floating island, where you can find everything you need to start f…

My name is Quill Quickcard. I am a representative of the Crab Squid Neo-Luddite Advocates. I post here in hopes of gaining further support.

I propose we include a ban on fruit-inhabiting sea sponges.

Let's just all accept an undeniable fact.
That if you want to be a druid in dungeons and dragons in version 3.5, you must be neutral on at least one axis, because they accept that there is an inherent impersonalism in nature. -

Hey, Koosh guy. Can I defect to your biome? I'd be happy to bring my skills of EMP waves, creepy clawing, and bizarrely dedicated attention to fictional governments on forums for survival games.

What do you have for the designated pilot?
