I think the dearth of players able correctly to punctuate the phrase: "it was the commanders' fault" would kill me, bit by bit. -
That's a really tasty change log guys, well done! I look forward to trying it out!

Also ordered 2. Dammed if it's only my son who gets to play with one of these babies!

This is a fantastic changelog, I shall enjoy checking out the performance improvements first-hand (and with my 980 overclocked, a RMA upgrade/replacement for my 780 which was faulty) - hopefully the CPU usage improvements will be really noticeable <…

I would love to, but my parents are a) a bit older than that and b) super eco warriors. They do have a computer, but it's only switched on when they absolutely need it. The thought of a powerful gaming CPU and GPU in there would gi… -
Play competitive. Then you want to win because your team will win the division for that season and hopefully continue to improve.
Plus comp NS2 is by far the best NS2 experience. in Why...do you want to Win? Comment by Roobubba November 2014 -

Everyone who donated to the reinforcement program got an e-mail linking the news and requesting our opinion. IE it's not buried on the forum in obscurity.

Bring on the pointless polls about whether NS2 should have no alien commander... no thanks

I did it the other way, started at Shadow (onos had sold out ) and then got Diamond -> SupporterI fully support these proposals.
I also want to thank you for the way you went about communication of this news!
Two thumbs up here.My poster arrived this week, in tact and well wrapped up.
Thanks @WasabiOne in NS2WC Reward (poster) Comment by Roobubba November 2014I don't understand this 'NS2 being such a headache for them' sentiment.
NS2 sold pretty well, especially when you consider the studio size. Certainly no worse than a reasonable expectation, and in line with similar releases (like Chivalr…Yeah I would also recommend avoiding the sek2000 servers. For what it's worth, despite the current state of the game in combat, I really like it. It has promise.
The player count is low mostly due…Haha even from that one screenshot you can tell it's a terrible movie

Interesting. Because of all the legitimate concerns about combat, the performance is actually very decent compared with ns2. The netcode isn't bad, which highlights how relatively poor the server and client performance in ns2.
I love NS2, but I do also have fond memories of NS1. I regret not getting into the comp scene back then. I looked at source modding years ago and decided I'd rather puncture my own spleen than get into that. Don't know if it ever got less horrible, …FWIW, I'd argue that Combat actually has >5 new maps, because the CP modes are remodelled - they may not be huge changes but they ARE different maps and the changes are necessary for the game type.
Regardless of that minor point, this…
