  • I already had this issue. After some update (I don't remeber which) this bug disappeared.
    What I did to not to close the game was:
    - console with '
    - write: connect 1.1.1.1 (will fail, no metters which server)

  • I needed to change my hdd and installed ubuntu 14.04 (I was using 12.04) and I started to get the same crash issue (nvidia gtx 660). I did a fresh install of ns2.
    I deleted this folders:

    $HOME/.config/Natural Selection 2/cache
