Mankind in its present state has been around for a quarter of a million years, yet only the last 4,000 have been of any significance.
So, what did we do for nearly 250,000 years? We huddled in caves and around small fires, fearful of the things that we didn't understand. It was more than explaining why the sun came up, it was the mystery of enormous birds with heads of men and rocks that came to life. So we called them 'gods' and 'demons', begged them to spare us, and prayed for salvation. In time, their numbers dwindled and ours rose. The world began to make more sense when there were fewer things to fear, yet the unexplained can never truly go away, as if the universe demands the absurd and impossible.
Mankind must not go back to hiding in fear. No one else will protect us, and we must stand up for ourselves.
While the rest of mankind dwells in the light, we must stand in the darkness to fight it, contain it, and shield it from the eyes of the public.

“Oh, how similar can these two games be...

...OH GOD THEY'RE EXACTLY THE SAME” -
When I was young I used to actively try to make things scary. It was weird, but it didn’t bother me so I just did it every once in a while. I was sitting around one day and had a weird thought.
I pictured someone playing subnautica like … -

That depends on how much you want to save. -
Would anyone be fine if whoever is behind the concept art kept drawing different biomes/ creatures that could exist in other parts of the subnautica world? I’m sad that once the game is done, we won’t see any new concept art, unless a fan drew it.

I like how nobody takes a second look at the evolutionary plausibility of, say the eye eye, but the crashfish, the crashfish is where we draw the line. -

The earth “brine” is a combination of groundwater and organic matter, so the lost river brine must be completely different.
(Yes, the brine is obviously acidic in Lost River Skeleton - Observations, Science, and things which make no sense Comment by ShuttleBug March 2018 -

By the way, what is that stuff? It burns through the seamoth’s titanium like plastic. -
Can’t tell if this is satire or not. Please let it be satire.

Could some other factor be responsible for the insane rigidness of the skeleton? The Terran examples of fossils are encased in minerals and pressure, but the many examples of fossils in the lost river are wide open. Perhaps a different bone chemistr…

Looks a lot more Earth-Reptilian like. What I am assuming to be the vertebrae extends well past the ribcage. We could be looking at somthing like an aqatic Spinosaurus or Dimetrodon here.
