So... how does one apply this patch? -

So... let me get this straight. in order to run the Gallium Nine patched wine you need to be running Nouveau graphics drivers and wine2.0?
Is there no way to use the Wine-staging and the latest proprietary drivers? -

Also by enabling OpenGL you would be prepared for Vulkan/OpenCL. -

...Then why not beef up the Seamoth (with tougher components and deeper range for the deep tight caves) and make the Cyclops cheaper (simpler components and not as deep of a range)?
It kind of makes sense that the deepe… -
Spare time is to Devs as Spare Ribs are to Pigs... not spare at all.

I'm curious Devs, how does the Steam Analysis stack up to this poll's results? -
I agree... it's depressing.

Not as of yet... (and it is unplayable currently under wine.) -
Try using Marblemelons in multiple plant shelves on the living walls and place Lantern Trees in plant pots in the corners.
Bonus: you can use it to power your belly AND your base. -
Alternately, if you don't want to have to implement fall damage don't place goal objects on precarious hard to reach locations. Blaze those trails a bit better on the island so there is less danger of falling off, especially at night. Maybe include …

@Coranth Unity runs native under Linux, and Wine still lacks DX10+ capabilities, so Native via OpenGL/Vulkan is my preference.

You will need to install the windows version of Steam under wine, and then you'll be able to install Subnautica through it.
That said, even running -force-d3d9 I'm still having the grey-washed out screen that was shown in the OP.<… -

That would suck.... I can picture either one going just behind the Seamoth hatch at the forward end of the drive shaft. -
Agreed... but it should also happen when you swim past rock grubs, or silt, for example. The intensity of the "Shock wave" should be based on the size of the creating creature, and resistance is based on the size of the effected creature.
As I had said above, if you base the ui scaling on the screen height instead of width (sans face mask) it should work... right? It's not quite as huge as yours... I could select New Game, but not Load Game.(Quote)
The reason I suggested making the Medkit Fabricator start off empty is to prevent the craft fabricator, take medkit, uncraft fabricator, rinse, repeat. exploit... You can fill a locker with medkits in no time flat currently.I see the same behavior trying to scale the game across three 1280x1024 screens (3840x1024)... not just the main menu either, but also the build info and the hud scaling seem to be out of whack as well.
Please base the scaling on either …The obvious (to me) solution to this is to make the Medkit Fabricator start off empty and craft the medkit starting from the time it was built, similar to how the Base Filtration System works.I don't know how viable it would be on Android... Subnautica loves to eat some ram.(Quote)
Found in Trello: Convert biome maps to 3D textures in list To Do
wherein Max McGuire (maxmcguire) says "Need Unity 5.4"
So maybe sooner rather than later?Or like I suggested Here, combine the Bioreactor and the upcoming Incinerator. I don't know that you need both.My first thought when you said Bait was almost like chaff for warplanes....
"Oh no, the Reaper Leviathan is really after me, I'll drop this bait and distract him so I can try to get away."Devs, Please Note: Incinerator + Thermocouple (Advanced Wiring kit?) = Energy
Maybe not much... but would work in a pinch and work similar to the way that the BioReactor works (Maybe even replacing the BioReactor completely.)Or you could implement common sense, basic weapons as well as an achievement for "Do no harm" that you lose if you ever use a weapon (including the knife) on anything other than food stock.
