I've gone all the way through the Early Access, up to the end area that I understand isn't quite complete yet.
But biggest complaint has been that I've literally had no use whatsoever for the Prawn.
I had my MK3 Depth upgrade… -
I've had this game for Xbox all the way back to the pre-release. Is much as I've loved the concept of the game, I've also been very vocal about the amount and severity of bugs that still exists once the "official release" happened. It's pretty rid…

I know they subcontracted the console updates out. I think that company probably did their best and they just reached a point where they said "this is about as good as it's gonna get without a major rewrite" and that was that.
After doi… -
I finally finished the full game last week.
There's a good chance your saved game is probably fudged. I have had some success recovering corrupted save games by doing a factory reset on my Xbox and then redownloading the game. That may… -
Update:
Finally was able to recover my saved file last night by completely unplugging my Xbox. So that's good.
Downside was I made my way into the Lost River for the first time. Lag there was pretty bad. -

Xbox One.
I'll also add that I made my way into the Aurora and fell through the floor and found myself swimming in between rooms and had to reload.

I've finally gotten back to playing Subnautica after taking some time off from it. Took some other peoples' advice and did a full factory reset of my Xbox and reinstalled everything, deleted my synced saves, etc.
Fired it back up and ha… -
It's /better/. Is it playable? That's probably up to your definition of what is playable. Can you now at least make it all the way through the game? Probably. At least, assuming your save file doesn't get corrupted. Even still, you're certainl…

Exactly.
And I'm not even suggesting I should be eligible for a refund. I paid for it when it was still in pre-release and was able to update to the "full" release for free. Although I could argue that I paid f… -
Falling through terrain is basically a "feature" in this game.
I just did it in the shallows, actually. -
Speaking of which, I saw the "The Meg" on a flight home from a scuba diving trip last week. They had what looked like a blatant copy of the crab squids in it. Pretty much identical.

I was in the lava castle last night and could barely navigate it. I eventually got through it, but it was pretty terrible. -

You really want the game saving automatically with all the issues people are having with saving?
Believe me, I totally get the sentiment, as I've lost hours of progress as well.
But I have a snea… -

Haha, fair enough. I had many of those same fears when I first got into scuba diving. I initially told myself I was just going to be a fresh water diver. The thought of being in the ocean and coming face to face with a shark ter… -
Diving with Orcas is actually a pretty desirable experience among scuba divers.
There's actually no recorded instances of killer whales killing humans in the wild. Even the attacks that have been recorded have almost always proven to be… -
Made another attempt at the Lava Castle today. Yesterday at least made into the castle and into the power installation before running into bugs.
Wasn't so lucky today. Recalling my issues with autosave not working yesterday, I decided … -

I don't have any adversity against it, per se. But I also understand a developer's desire to force their users to experience the product as they intended. Giving them the ability to bypass many of the major mechanics of the game … -

Not necessarily. Lots of cross platform games have console commands on PC but not on consoles. It's actually fairly common.
I think it's quite possible that since this was ported from the PC version, the console comma… -

I keep seeing people saying the console commands being missing is a bug.
Are we sure that isn't intended?
When I was playing through the Preview, I assumed the console commands were there for debugging… -

I uninstalled a bunch of games and reinstalled Subnautica. Performance is now moderately better than it was in the Pre-release.
I can kinda sorta explore the Lava zone, which I was almost completely unable to before. … -

How's the performance for you?
I'd guess the lack of resources probably wouldn't be attributed to the hard drive being full. That sounds like a legit bug that would be separate from performance. To 0x6A7232's point, a… -

I'd fit into that criteria. I might be able to test it tonight. Just have to decide what game(s) I can live with deleting...and that's going to be a very tough decision. -
I'll echo that.
I just made a post in the other thread making a complaint about the pop-in. But I'm a software engineer and understand the work that gets put into this stuff. So kudos to everyone involved. I have no doubt many late ni… -
I'm seeing same as OP.
Loaded my game up and happened to be in my seamoth right next to a Jellyshroom cave entrance. So I plunged down the opening to see how the framework would hold up, knowing that rapid dives into deeper caves were t… -
Can't freaking wait for this. Really hoping saved games from the pre-release still work. My current game has been stuck in the Lava Lakes for the past 5 months because the performance gets so bad I can't feasibly advance any further.

Newest bug I've noticed that add night/day seems to have gotten really weird since Update 84.
There's times when I'll go into my Cyclops when it's day time, grab a few items out of my storage locker in the cyclops, then immediately leave…
