Buddy, you're necro-ing a thread from when this game was in Early Access. I'm pretty sure this post was made before the Aurora was traversable. This part of development is well past over.

also. @Seldkam , just because people dont take your (and yes even the devs way of creating this game is by opinion so dont say it isnt an opinion) doesn't mean they do…

Loving this idea, plus the Aurora is exactly that. Another comparison (without reality) would be the movie Avatar. The objective is to harvest a material, not to "kill everything in sight". also in Lethal weapon crafting. Comment by SuburbanCamo April 2015 -
@Kodasa the idea of me standing around and all of a sudden my base floods because of a sewer-sized hole sounds AWESOME. XD its like when you fail at building a working …
-
@Seldkam so by your logic, because the game doesn't include weapons/killing, im not allowed to state that i would like to see it? isnt that almost directly the point o…

@SgtHydra the idea for solar panels was just a power conservation idea, but you are right. The bases need some form of greater utility to them because anything you pu…

@Seldkam i understand perfectly why the majority of people dont want it, and what you say is the second reason is basically a reiteration of the first, and i respect t…

@SgtHydra it wouldn't really make sense to me personally for a base to use solar panels, considering i put my base near mushroom forests/red kelp zones, so the sun do…

This is hands down one of the best biome concepts ive heard of for this game, and i love your variations for it. Keep doing what you're doing, 100% supportWow, i totally forgot about the seaglide, yeah that thing really does sap energy for no reason. There should be an option to turn that light off and on, half the time im using it im topside at 10 meters just trying to find salt for food.In this game, me, tarek, sayerulz, and a few others seem like the minority, where 9/10 times we would LOVE to kill that creature ready to tear our sub in 2. However, that isn't what the devs are going to do, nor is it what the majority wants for thi…@Hyp3rion i definitely know what you're talking about. the lack of power conservation is bananas in this game. And i've played spore, where the space stages entire ob…you know, you may as well do it considering there isn't one person on this thread defending the 32-bit players, so i say definitely go for it at this point(Quote)
I dont go through their patch notes/dev notes/ threads enough. i just feel the player deserves a fighting chance against these beasts, but youre right that whatever the devs wanna do is whats going to happen. i just dont like when …@sayerulz a lot of our aquatic life have massive eyes too, yet they arent always dominant. also, most creatures with larger eyes in subnautica are passive, so cloakin…Great concept, but i think you're forgetting something. Most aquatic animals have terrible sight. they use alternative means of sniffing out prey, such as sonar, actual smell, feelers, etc. so to be a gigantic cloaked sub going past a crab snakes an…Just thought about this, but why was this not a poll? we could've easily seen what people wanted to have happen. not bashing the OP just saying that would've been awesome to see the charts on this one!@Kodasa well thats definitely a plus that a youtuber (someone who can influence the market of the product) is actually talking to the devs to help make the game a more …@Kodasa its always fun to theorize and usually constructive too so i dont blame you, and those are pretty solid ideas. But i feel like if either of those were actually …@Kodasa thanks for the comment, really hope a dev might come by and shed some light on this completely famished character of ours, but for now, ill just bear with it. b…I have to agree with going into 64-bit, mainly because you don't please the minority of your customers if it means greatly upsetting the majority. the majority makes the the product green or red light. right now i have a software/gaming specced ASUS…(Quote)
Humankind does not live in an illusion of being on top, and like i've been saying and you just proved my point, is that it is because of our ability to craft weapons. the game is about survival you said, correct? survival isnt just…(Quote)
Definitely true, but now that i think about it, do the days seem faster to you as well on the planet? it seems like it rotates at a breakneck pace to me. And also i should clarify, i think the bases and escape pods power supply are…(Quote)
I don't understand why its so fast though. I mean, if you look at reality, yes you absolutely do tire faster underwater, but if i sit completely still in my seamoth my little dude is like "*gasp*... WAAATTTEEERRR" and it just doesn…(Quote)
They actually are working on a gene splicer of sorts, so its very possible you can get your wish.
I'd really like to see a deep sea diver. Not huge, but enough size to be able to not get obliterated by the future creatures do…(Quote)
What he said, but i do like your ideas. The mermaid sounds like a really creepy alternative to the mesmer. They actually do have barnacles in the game, but they don't work like that at all. They just hang around. I really like the …(Quote)
1. Humans don't think, we know we are at the top of the food chain. We are considered an apex predator, a predator that is never prey. Why? Again, because we can fashion the tools to survive AND thrive. Sure, we could build enough …(Quote)
Actually what he says makes a LOT of sense, and I can tell you why. Man originally wasn't at the top of the food chain until we developed WEAPONS. What does the military use to combat a large threat? BIG. WEAPONS. If he said we sho…
