I was basing that off of the old ideas since everyone seems to have gotten confused at some point, that the idea was a tempban not a perm ban. Easy enough to add another "vote" that just says vote temp ban. Time limit or map change.

Yes. That is correct. But the point is, a $70 cpu OC'd from 3.2 to 4.2 can handle 20 players and all the other stuff (rts, cyst, etc) just fine. I'm sure (or I hope at least) that Most of the NS2 servers are running on better gear than the 2nd pc…

Since you said you like combat, I hoped in a combat server. In the RR I had around 115 fps. In-game lowest was 45-90. The bottleneck not surprising was the gpu at 12 ms. The map was core.
On Decent with 20 players I got around 62-100… -

All you need is a g3258. OC it to 4.5 and you're set. That's if you're trying to save some $. An i7 4790k is always a good buy and very nice if you plan to run a number of programs at once.

I've been able to alt+tab while in game (everything already loaded), forget about it and ns2 still work after a few hours of being alt+tab. Wasn't the case in 268. Alt+Tab while load still causes crash, most of the time.

I had a few crashes in 269 while votes were on, 0 while off. I plan to turn them on again and see if if it stays the same, as I have also made a few other changes.

Same idea applies to view it. Just open a lot of tabs, and everyone watch 5 other streams while streaming, just mute them all.

Pick a day (weekend most likely) where a large amount of players (from all over the world is best), would be able to steam on twitch. The more streamers the higher chance of viewers, the more viewers - higher up on the game is NS2 will be.I've tried the new browser a few times, a few diff days, etc etc. It seems sorting is fubar as well, when looking at a server, any server it will not show who is in the server. Not so much, our team didn't have the best shooters, we held 0 ground and I'm sure they had most of the RTs and 2 hives at least. Best we had was 1 hive for about 5 mins.
