Yep, same here. Seems to be the same type of GPU crash that was happening on AMD hardware a little while back before it was fixed. Same symptoms, reproduction, etc.

Oh no, you misunderstood me -- I wasn't implying the skin itself would be taken away, I meant the value of the skin would be completely undermined if made tradeable.

NO.
Having Black Armor is like being in a special club. A club that no one gets into. You had your chance. We supported the game first. We were told our Black Armor would be special. You can't just suddenly trade that. … -
I am also crashing to desktop with a "graphics driver has crashed and reset" error ever since the graphics upgrade patch (experimental) -- I also am running a AMD 6800 series with latest drivers.

I thought this was settled last decade...

I'm unable to use the constructor at all this build because of this bug.

I agree and think this would be a great direction to take some older assets and recycle them into a DLC pack that is relevant and affordable, all while leaving the "stuff that really matters" exclusive to the veteran supporters.

This is awesome. So stoked for what's coming.

5.1 is definitely not broken -- just checked it and it's working fine.
However, a long time ago it didn't work until they changed the way NS2 cooperates with the sound device.

You don't have to enable v-sync in order to limit your framerate with OSDS. I just prefer v-sync (screen tearing gives me a headache) and thus play with it enabled.

Like I said, yes, I know the technical reason for it, but as far as it being perceivable or even an issue at all, it isn't.

I've been using v-sync for nearly two decades, and have never experienced any input lag in any game...ever. Never could figure out why others do (I understand the technical answer to the latency, it's just never been perceivable).… -
Bumpity bump bummmp.
This method has also worked to fix the jitter in the latest patch for me, just wanted to throw it out there for anyone to try.

I don't seem to be able to shoot by sticking my tongue out while wiggling my nose? Surely this is a Kinect bug.

This is awesome. What a great way to get out of the weekly mundane and get the creative juices going!
Can't wait to play the results! Heist looks very promising. -

Hmm, well our systems are somewhat similar. I've got a Intel CPU and a Recon3D soundcard.
I guess unless this problem is only occurring with AMD video cards + latest drivers + Win7 x64, then there's not much to go on.<… -
-When are your instances of runtime errors occuring?
Only happens during a mapchange to ns2_summit. Fresh connection to ns2_summit doesn't crash.

I get this, but only on a mapchange to ns2_summit. I'll copy/paste the log next time it happens.

I'm not familiar with Microsoft LifeChat...does that plug in to your on-board sound output? Or is it USB with its own system drivers?
If it is USB, perhaps it is a driver error/conflict? -

What kind of info? There are no logs produced during the error. The system is healthy otherwise, no problems what-so-ever with any other game/software. Also, NS2 runs butter smooth and always has (well, maybe not in Alpha(Quote)

So far, the only thing that has worked is alt-F4ing out with both the console and menu screen closed.(Quote)
I'm sure it's some type of driver related error. Fully updated on my end.
Also, there is no log generated on crash because the whole system hangs.
