Once you reach a certain point and get your, um, "companion" the prompts are much better than they used to be. But yeah I feel you on the lack of prompts in the early game before that point. Looking forward to having those back. -

Tip: Remove the modules from the truck before you log out, then they won't disappear.

I started a new game today with the latest patch for Experimental, and I'm not seeing the graphical bugs that I was before.
However, the lights are still out in my base after I quit and re-load my game. -
After quitting and re-loading my new game, the lights are out in the new base, so whatever bug this is isn't just affecting previous saves.

I'm getting graphical bugs now, too. I started a new game because none of the lights would turn on in my base and all my vehicle upgrades are gone (not that big a deal, early access and all). But now significant chunks of the terrain are missing.
I think I saw a youtuber say that it got moved, or was removed for the moment. Something in the dev map (I forget where it is) mentioned it. But it's temporary.
In the meantime, I'd just use the console to spawn the piece you need so you…I thought they already had. That it was one of the things they did in order to get it working properly on XBox.(Quote)

In another thread, Obraxis said that they have a fix for this going through Microsoft certification right now. This can take a few days, up to a week sometimes. I'm not super confident that …I don't think I've found them in the Grassy Plateaus, but they exist in five or six places in the game. Granted, they're all in out of the way spots, but more common than you might think.
For me, the rarest plant in the game is the Pygmy…I'm getting that same resource spawning problem I was complaining about so much with the PC Experimental builds. Bummer.

I would guess that old saves will NOT work. They often didn't between updates, and I wouldn't expect them to with the release version. It's going to be a whole different install of the game, too, not just an update.
