I would LOVE to see the Rock Puncher in the game. They are basically like giant mantis shrimps.

i´m not really so invested in this aspect of the gmae so i haven't read all the replies. I think we should not have leathal wepons becuase subnautica is the ONLY survival exploration gem out there where you don't kill everything. The overall feel of…

yeah they should in general add more customizable bases. Maybe add mini water filters that you can put on the side of a corridor that produce a bit of oxygen. (if oxygen production is gonna be a thing) Or add solar panels directly on the roof of cor…

are these models working for everyone?

Amazing!

yes i think they are going to add this if you look at subnauticas trello page.

Ah yes i might agree that random currents would be a bit annoying. One big current though like in finding nemo would be REALLY cool though.
-
Ohh yes maybe the ice can be a slight tint of purple or somrthing because of different minerals in the water. Or maybe it isn't even ice it's just a large collection of microorgansims floating on the water that just looks a bit like ice and reacts t…

I kinda stole the PDA thing from Scubamatt too lol.

Building on what Corblimey said: Maybe sometimes in caves or in the inactive lava zone temperature changes in the water could cause a current that pushes you 20m - 30m. During the storms they get much stronger and occur on the surface and can push y…

Yeah this probably wouldnt even be hard to implement and i cant see how anyone would object since it just makes inventory managment easier.
-
well maybe they can just extend the map a bit farther north where it's -10 celsius or something like that (I dont know what temperature would be good if we still want to have liquid water under). Maybe add that you need some sort of cold protection …

Basically what i deduce from these comments is that the people who dont think it should happen are basically vegans / very animal friendly. Jesus this is a game and if you dont wan to build on a reefback you dont have to. I personally think it would…

Yeah i think it would be cool if the arctic biome is at least 2 km deep with just open dark blue water.

I've just installed blender and i have a question. Did you use sculpt mode to make the general shape or did you drag the vertices in place? Or is there another way maybe?
-
You could put one of the entrances at the back of the center thing for the axial thrusters.
-
Once again amazing! Those circular things in the middle could maybe be modular. So you could choose if you want to put a big circular window on there. A nuclear / bioreactor. Or maybe a farm.
-
Oh and as for the whale im trying to learn 3d modeling on youtube as of now.
-
An idea those 2 circle things on the side of the concept art can maybe be seamoth/exo docking ports. Maybe they open up and inside its like a moonpool but from the side.

That looks really cool. I also thought of the same thing, trying to do my own 3d model for the game. But i was gonna do the whale creature that's in the concept art.
