You can simulate an airlock with bulkheads, though it doesn't actually fill with water. I tend to do that just because I think it's more realistic (and gives a little bit of structure as well).

It's easy with the stasis rifle, although with a Reaper one can usually avoid it. You can even scan a Sea Dragon if you can get it in stasis!

There was a mod for creating ingots out of all metals - and decompressing them back into their components, for easy storage. I haven't tried that one, but it sounds very useful.
Base blueprints would be neat. I think it's probably too ha… -
Predators hatched from eggs in the large aquarium do not attack players if you let them out into the world. While they don't follow you, I think that counts as tame. It can be a useful way of getting stalker teeth too. You can hatch a stalker and pi…

1,500M is 1.5 kilometers. That is close to a mile (which is 1.6 kilometers).

I would love to see base built warp gates. That's right up there with a Cyclops base dock!

One of the things I like about this game is the fact that most creatures acted kind of like real creatures. In the real world, the wildlife is not out to get you, it's out to mostly do it's own thing. So sand sharks (for instance), stay mostly in th…

I can confirm this on PC. For right now they seem to be impossible to get.

That seems to be a bug that won't go away. It's been doing that since at least 3 releases, maybe more.

200 meters is 600 feet. That is absolutely not shallow. And at 200m it would be dark all the time - that is the beginning of the twilight portion of the deep sea, where photosynthesis is not possible. The deepest dive ever made by anyone using scu…

There used to be a signal to it. Of all the places, I think that one really needs a signal. If you don't already know it's there, it's going to be next to impossible to find. The lava zone is *huge* too. All those spires, and only one has a base - a…

I agree with the dock for the Cyclops. That would be the #1 base part for anyone's wish list I think. Perhaps an extra large Moonpool like at the mountains base?

I do hate it when I'm in the Prawn trying to get over the top of something, and get warped out, and watch my prawn drop helplessly back into the abyss...

This is true post 1.0 still. It's been an issue for a long time. Maybe it's on the list for finally fixing it now that 1.0 is finally out? I hope so!

This works like a champ on the newly released 1.0 Subnautica. I still hope they release a real in game map, but if and until they do, this is absolutely a godsend for directionally challenged folks such as myself. I've done probably 13 playthroughs …

I think not having the signal to the thermal plant in the lava castle may be a big problem for people who are new to the game. If you don't already know it's there, you'll probably never find it - and it has the Blue Key, which you must have to adva…

I've built them in the Jellyshroom Caves. It's the only place I've ever found that has 80C temperatures. None of them ever had any problems. It may be the fragments of lava, or perhaps it was because it was unfinished? I've never tried leaving one …

I always thought that was simply how they were meant to work. I never dreamed that the +14 in GP rooms was a bug, especially since it has been that way since the very beginning.
I'll be building more regular titanium corridors and reinfo… -
It looks like large copper deposits are gone too, which is too bad. That makes copper an eternally needed commodity, though at least the limestone is common now.

Yes, it now has a scroll bar. Finally!! This will actually make it worth it to build scanner range upgrades - and maybe even a speed upgrade. Perhaps by making four range upgrades and a load of materials for a portable mini scanner-room base, the et…

Until and if they fix things like the Drill Arm fragments never appearing anywhere in the world during a run through, we need the console. And without an in-game map, the wrecks can be a nightmare to locate, even with a printed map showing basically…

At least stalkers can't damage it. They do nibble on it though! I had bonesharks actually destroy my docked seamoth when I built a base in the Underwater Islands. I reported that as a bug - your seamoth should be safe when docked!

Subnautica is much more an exploration game then a survival game. There are survival elements, but fortunately it is not the primary focus. With a stillsuit, you actually *can* desalinate water from your belt in this game. Even in an actual surviva…

I agree with the rethinking the thermometer removal. Because you only build items when swimming rather then in a vehicle, that is annoying. The thermal plant does tell the current temperature now, but no one wants to have to build, despawn, and rebu…

Personally I'd hate having destroyable bases. I like building bases in unusual places like the ILZ near the lava castle with lots of windows and watch the sea dragon swim majestically past. There are no defenses against a sea dragon. One can also bu…

It reminds me of the old Bionic Man series eye crosshair. The only reason you'd want that is if you were using it to target something, otherwise it's just in the way.

I like all of them except the Sea Dragon, which annoys me due to breathing fire being unrealistic enough to break my immersion. I have the same problem with the crash fish - they exist simply to annoy players, rather then something that would natura…

It would be enough to see just a basic map of the current biome with features of interest marked, just so you could tell where you have already been. That would make searching for the wrecks far less painful for those of us who are directionally cha…

There are quite a few things that could be listed on such a panel. Current power and the current drains on the power system is one. Current structure points is another one that needs a decent way to be displayed. I hate having to disassemble a windo…
