The 'Lerk' crash might not be related to Lerks at all. Just a timing thing since shotguns usually come out around the same time as Lerks do, and is the first time i'm using them.

It's a lot of hassle. I would rather just install Windows on a separate partition. not that i would.
I share your sentiments about giving up NS2 before Linux.

I'm one of these having all these problems. Running Arch 3.12.9-2.
Stuck at 60 FPS, also the crashing has become much worse than previous builds. -
I have the same problem when running Kernel 3.12.2 or newer.
3.12.1- works fine. (Still with the odd crash though)
Which is a pain, as I would like to keep my kernel up to date.
Running Arch 64bit

Depends what you want out of an OS.
It's free, pretty much 100% customizable, right down to the Kernel. If you are so inclined you can also contribute to it's development.

I must admit, the Linux crashes i have been experiencing have been getting fewer and fewer each build.
