The Aston Martin is somewhat lightweight but the crown still goes to Triton with the Triton 3300/3 which can reach depths of 3280 feet while also sporting a 3 pass…

What is the modification date on "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica\__buildnumber.txt"? Mine says April 23, 2018 and it just so happens that Update 85 was released on that date. If I open up the file inside it reads 1485, not …

You could try some quirky things such as;
1. While inside the Prawn do a jump, yes it will be small but upon doing the jump eject yourself from the Prawn.
2. Try a combination of jumping and grappling the ground several feet in fro… -

If you watched my short video then you'll see that the Seaglide is nearly 70% faster on average than using fins. I'll trust the F1 Info console any day over my own relative visual perception. -
Here is a simple test showing the player local speed of using fins versus the Seaglide. https://youtube.com/watch?v=cFxY4esSjEI

The Cyclops gives you a mobile staging ground but if you know what you are doing and looking for then all that you need to finish the game is your Prawn. Tell me exactly why the Cyclops is necessary to beat the game; don't say batt… -
I have learned over the years that it is always better to either ignore or report a user that is trolling / bullying rather than getting defensive or lashing out at them. Sometimes the instigator will bait you and then report you, or sometimes there…

While I wouldn't walk within 30 yards of a lion in the wild I am uncertain as to whether they would even attack because unless they are starving or mistake us for their prey then predators tend to stick to prey that they are used to hunting, same th…

Creatures do not do damage to your base.
Though if you wanted to intentionally cause damage to your base then you could plant Tiger Plants around your base. -
- Bone Sharks - they attack my seamoth/prawn when vacant, they are also hyper aggressive
- Lava Lizards - they attack my seamoth/prawn when vacant
- Reaper Leviathan - easy enough to kill if you have a statis rifle but I have lo…

There are a few threads on this if you wish to investigate. https://forums.unknownworlds.com/search?Search=invisible+floaters -
I wonder if you're suffering from the invisible floaters bug?
I also remember seeing one post about someone saying how tonnes of Stalker teeth were littered on the ground causing the game to lag.
Assuming that you aren't running an… -
The blurry graphics is from the Depth of Field setting.
As a fellow scuba diver unless you are diving in murky water or water with lots of algae or minuscule aquatic life then the clarity of what you see is actually really clear. … -

Curious. Previously were you overclocking your system? I found that when I tried various overclock profiles that it changed my RAM to undesired settings. I just don't bother with overclocking anymore. -
Love it!
Possible improvements:- Add your starting life pod to the map as a reference point.
- Perhaps add markers for high desirable items blueprints such as; Alien Containment, bioreactor, thermal reactor.
-
No thanks. You have to remember that the Seamoth has solar power to help with power, while the Prawn has Thermal power to help. Last thing we need is for all of the vehicles to start draining power horribly like the Cyclops does. No thanks.
-
Thermal Reactors for me because...
- I have to change full suit into radiation suit.
- The power doesn't last that long.
- Requires having to gather uranite crystals from time-to-time.
- Ongoing maintenance means that…

If they are going to choose a name for the planet then the naming scheme is most likely going to follow the same naming scheme as say the Degassi sea base.

I am celebrating Earth Day by building 10 or more bioreactors (because tonnes of excess energy is better) for my base and fueling them with fish caught directly from the ocean. If I run out of fish then I'll switch to cutting and and stealing…

I have an idea but you should save before trying it because my idea may just cause your Seamoth to explode.
Here is my thought...
Find a Gasopod and get it to spawn those yellow balls. Before they explode try to collect as ma… -

I tested pushing my Seamoth using both my Prawn as well as just my diving suit and was able to move the Seamoth using either method; though when I was pushing with my Prawn I caused significant damage to my Seamoth. Unless something is tethering the…

What would happen if you tried to nudge / move Slippy with either your body or another vehicle, does it keep spinning?
Or what if you parked a Cyclops over top of the Seamoth so that the docking back was directly above the Seamoth, then … -
The Crashfish is adorable cute.
The Ampeel is pretty cool, or should I say electrifying.
The Crabsquid visually is one of the best designed in the game.
The Cuddlefish is cute but they seem to disappear after a wh…
