I don't know Hera as well as Bast or Eclipse, so it's possible I may have missed something. please feel free to let me know if I screwed up <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
I'm trying to do them in order of popularity as determined by the 'favorite map' poll pinned to the top of General Discussion... However, I may save Nancy for last, as it is going to be fairly complicated compared to the others...
<b>KEEP THEM COMING!!!!</b> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Increadible work mang...definately a must have, and even more justification for having my nice photo-quality printer at home. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
thankyou so much for beating me to this <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> you rock man, keep em comin!
I'm compelled to say something negative here, just to maintain the space time continium. This many positive vibes have to be harmful to something! Awww **obscenity** it...nice **obscenity**' job with the maps. The world needs more people like you willing to do work for the greater good.
WOOHOO!! Thanks for including the psd files too, that way I can make them greyscale and resize them so my printer doesn't try and kill me in my sleep (It lives under my bed).
Ouch... sounds like it's time to get a new printer.
(just don't let it hear you say that) <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
It's possible to note, maybe with a little difference of color, wich weldable doors/vents are breakable? Any of you have been trying to break all welded points? I think is a very interesting feature on maps. What do you think Tenaku?

PlanetNS.com is proud to be hosting Tenaku and his work, come by and take a look. Soon we will have map specific strategies available for each map along with the rest of Tenaku's work.
As a suggestion could you use a different color for the commander chair, hive, weldable, and resource nodes. I think the contrast would help differentiate them better. These are great, looking forward to the whole set. Please do all of them!
Heh. Love em! Just like being commander, except without all the marines to complain about not having machine guns. Shouldn't bast be rotated so that the engine room and the marine spawn are along the north edge? (That's the way I'm used to seeing it...) Other than that, awesome job.
I was just thinking...these maps are A LOT more informative than the hivesight, or the minimap. Isn't it possible to have a add-on/feature in-game that allows you to hold on to a key, and it would have the overhead view of the map, overlayed over your game, so that u can take a quick look? I think this will help us learn the new maps a LOT faster.
I've been playing for a while and I know where most places ARE, like, generator, t-junction, sewer, etc etc but whenever my teammates ask for my help, I would KNOW where they are, but have trouble actually GETTING there. I wish u could take this feature into consideration, unless the dev. don't WANT us to have a map of the map...(huh?).
dr. skipper is it possible that you make black&white versions of all tenaku`s maps, like the one above? It`s a sweet and really printer friendly. I don`t have a color printer either and tenaku`s originals have way too much black in them anyways.

I just like the black for display on a monitor.
What about ns_tanith next? I realy like this map playing alien. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
I will watch at those maps every evening before going to sleep (so my dreams about NS are more accurate).

This has been mentioned before, but these can be opened in <a href='http://www.gimp.org' target='_blank'>the Gimp</a> which is free.
If you're not familiar with it, here's how to do it:
Get the gimp and install it (natch).
Open the .psd file
Right click on the image and select "layers channels and paths"
In the dialog that pops up scroll down the layers till you find the black background and click on the eye icon to deselect and hide it
Right click the image again and either print or do a "save as".
You're all done. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
