Haven't watched it, but I've heard that was the series that gave the inpiration for Evangelion.
I'm watching <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_Geass" target="_blank">Code Geass</a> at the moment. It took me a little bit to warm up to but I'm enjoying it now.

Most of the ones discussed in this thread are, lol <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
At any rate, just watched MIND GAME, and it was f*ing BRILLIANT! OMG! So profound.. it had me longing and laughing and aching for the characters, simple though they were. Absolutely <i>beautiful</i>.
Why am I the only one excited for the new Doraemon? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

The first episode of <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09EJegfFYf8" target="_blank">Gurren Lagann</a> premiered in Japan on April 1st. It's still unlicensed, with a healthy amount of seeds. It's hilarious, and awesome. <a href="http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/984.html" target="_blank">Get it while it's hot!</a>
First impressions and general synopsis... it's got GREAT music. What more from Gainax, though? Yeah they've really f*ed up a couple times but imo they're back in great form this time. Animation is clean and very satisfying, character dialogue and expressions are likeable.. and so far, the only themes clearly established are big fighting robots with giant faces with torsos, and drilling. I rarely find an anime so fun to watch after (and beyond) the first episode :]
Hmm the mecha design reminds me of Granzord. <a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/eaglearcher/granzordlanslot.jpg" target="_blank">The mecha on the upper half.</a>
Just finished marathoning through <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetes" target="_blank">Planetes</a>. I loved it, kept telling myself to save half the eps for tomorrow but plowed through em anyway. I really like how it felt so much more human than other anime, plus space exploration is depicted in a nice realistic way. Also like how it doesn't present a one sided view of space exploration or terrorism.
Plus, who can resist Tanabe!
Now I want to get Twin Spica, saw a few eps on TV but that was before Animax (cable anime channel) started showing dubs of every frick'n thing. My friend has given me Mushi-shi to watch though I have no idea what it is about, should I bother? I'm kinda tired of ninja/samurai animes which is what it seems to be from a quick browsing.
I just read the planetes manga (only 4 volumes and i have nothing to do that i feel like doing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> ) and loved it. I generally read the manga rather than watching the anime adaptation.
-Ginga Nagarebosh Gin (Silverfang) About dogs from all over Japan joined together to fight a man-eating bear terrorizing a ski resort town. Greatest dog anime ever! Already fansubbed to episode 9. Don't miss this one. Every episode is action packed.
Just saw <a href="http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=1786" target="_blank">Legend of the Galactic Heroes</a> on ANN and was surprised I haven't heard of despite its very high rating. I'm watching this next.
Is Mind Game available in the US (licenced?) or should i just find a fansub?

They weren't kidding when they said this series is lauded for character development and realistic portrayal of economic and societal involvement in space development, both of which make the show really interesting :]
Bleach 121 have a new intro. If you look carefully, lchigo will go "full-hollow". And what about Inoue Orihime going into a portal to Aizen? The intro scares me, at the end of the intro, Inoue are buried under sand..
spectacular you all should watch it. Now i just have death note and Black Lagoon to troll through <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
