Anyone else had partly effective nukes? ie some buildings still stand even if in the center of the explosion?

Tech III factories can usually withstand a nuke hit from what I've seen. Though there is something kind of error where you can nuke like 50 tech I units, and 1 or 2 will survive. No idea what causes this, might be a processing power issue.

Damage is most at point of impact, then a circle of damage rings spreads outwards, doing progressively less damage.

Rapier7, add me and I'll crush you.

Yeah, but I've killed a commander with like 20 mantis tech I guys, and when he detonates all except for 1 or 2 die. They are all the same distance from him.

I just had a revelation... this game is so EASILY modifiable and built for it, that we should create an NS mod!

I downloaded some replays from the vault. I know how to view them when I download them. I instead saved them because I wanted to view them later. To my surprise when I tried to view them later by loading up the game, it says Failed to launch replay. I have the latest version, the replays where posted recent so I assume they are running the same version. So how do I view them? Its pointless to have the option to save them if I cant view them.

That's a weird error, my only thought is that you are running a different version of the game then of the replay taken. I've had no problems with viewing replays I've saved to my hard drive.

Weird thing is, I can view them after I download them by clicking Watch now. Just cant view them if I save them to my HD. Might reinstall and repatch.

If you're running the latest patch then make sure the replay you download is [3217] (usually in title or description)

Older replays will fail to load on newer patches and vice versa

Well I reinstalled, and got the latest patch. I got the replays to work. However they still wont work from viewing them in game, but I can double click them in my replay folder and view them. Better then having to re download them over and over.

Iam being disconnected in online games. The game is doing fine till about 2 min into the match. Then I loose connection to the internet and have to reset my cable modem to get back online.
I had a switch between me and the modem, but I removed it. Still getting the problem.

I have a 2 mbit Stofanet connection, and I have tried turning all firewalls off. My computer is a 3.3 Ghz, 1G DDR2 ram, 7900GT.

Do you experience these problems in other games? Are you use a router? I suggest you post on the offical forums, you might get a quick solution.

I had a switch connected earlier, now it's just plugged directly into the modem. (It's a modem right? you gotta have a modem)
I felt the official forums were spammed with "CAN I RUN IT" threads, and things were grinding to a halt... i don't know, I might post there.

Warcraft 3, played a little Dota with a friend. Have disconnects a couple of times during the hours. Steam games like Dod source and HL2 run fine online, battlefield 2142 too. The battle for middle earth 2 too. Splinter cell double agent demo too.. to name a few.

    my nick is "Nukaen".

No one told me modems could get old, or that mine was. 8 years.

Got a new one for free. Now I can play.
