Personally - and I don't speak for Them here - I think Them's comment was poking fun at a response that other user made in the other thread, based on how overboard the other comment was in relation to what was being said in the other thread. We make fun of each other's signature images, scores, likes and dislikes, opinions, and pretty much everything else here. It's what we do. Sexuality shouldn't be taboo any more than our favorite Jello flavor, I feel (within reason, of course - but then, I don't think much of what was said in that other thread was offensive). The comment made by other user seemed overreaching for what was being written, which is why I think Them made the comment here. At least, that's how I interpreted it.
I don't want to start a debate about ###### rights in this thread, which is why I didn't bother writing anything in the other thread: it would seem that the topic is still mired in the politics of taboo, and people are very sensitive about it. But I figured, since you were confused, I might as well try explaining my perception of the comment.
