So when the MASC deploys will it take extra damage when aliens bite the actual cannon?
So the MASC would be nigh impervious when attacking its armour and treads; however, once deployed, attacking the gun deals more damage. Not too much though or else suicide skulks would obliterate the MASC...
Also, will there be any other mobile automated things like scanning devices, turrets, shields, scouting drones, etc?
I think it would be pretty cool to have a small mobile drone machine that uses some magnetic levitation that has a weak attack (or none at all) but it spreads line of sight and detects hidden units. A good counter against aliens rushing for cloaking and for spotting.

That would be the substitute for motion tracking, right? Imo, it's more realistic to have a device like that than motion tracking.
