Seen it now. Overhyped. Intense, I'll admit. Landa and Aldo were impressive characters, but they ended up eclipsing others to the extent that they became crassly under-developed. Also, but I recognise that as a personal preference and I try not to fault the movie for it, I like my war movies historical. I might have liked it better in a different setting.
But seriously, what specifically did you not like? I've heard plenty of reasons to like it, I liked it, and I'm curious as to why you didn't.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> I thought many of the scenes dragged on way too long not leaving time for other potentially more interesting ones. The plot was okay but not amazing. I am a big fan of history, I know this was not meant to be a historically accurate movie but some of the movies’ departures from reality bothered me and like someone else said the movie seemed pretty full of itself. Overall I think this movie would have been really dry and stupid if Brad Pitt hadn’t been in it and I expect bit more then one strong actor is such a highly hyped movie.
I also saw the movie in a theater where some viewers felt the need to verbalize their thoughts during the movie, I may have had a more enjoyable experience at home.
