    The doors should now block ai units when closed.

    Loved this siege map together with ns_siege005_006c6 (I know, it looked like crap :p)
    Although siege maps have haters and lovers, we used to ran one back in the day and it was always full

    Still think that siege maps should run under a mod (ns2c anybody?)
    Exo's are just too OP for siege maps and fades without acid rocket fail in the siege room)

    Yeah when I think about it, don't think would work too well since exo and no acid rocket.

    As much as I want the siege room, maybe have the focus be escorting the arc's instead? Considering how much more mobile and offensive the marines are in NS2, perhaps even the roles should be reversed.

    1) Marines must push forward to alien hives with exosuits and arcs.
    2) After timer, passage to marine base opens, allowing rapid access to their base for aliens to assault. (edit: maybe even the roof opens so aliens can pour through from above).

    The guys from NS2 Classic have two servers running and I tested on it yesterday. Besides a few nasty bugs and some modeling it feels like old times. The gorge for instance is imo restored to his former glory. I still hope they will eventually readd devour for onos.

    Besides that, siege maps would definitly work with this mod. There are no exos in it (HA+HMG returns) and the fade has his acid rocket back (although for now it only damages marines armor, not hp and no buildings, yet). The robotics factory now acts as the turret factory which you will need to upgrade and drop the ARCs (Sieges) in its range. Those are already immobilized in this mod.

    I'd love to test a siege map running under this mod.

    Need a mechanism for running the doors though, and I doubt ns2c has that.

    I plan to put up a siege server running ExtraEntitiesMod and my siege map tonight (in perhaps 8 or 9 hours) and leave it going a while to hopefully collect some useful feedback. In all likelihood only a few people will have the foggiest idea what siege mode is or how it works, and this extreme inexperience will make up for the majority of balance issues that are present at first.

    Server name will start with "Siege" and you can also filter by map name ns2_hivesiege to find it. Not online yet though. Expect it in 2 hours or so. If it doesn't appear, then I got distracted with something else and theres no telling when it will be online.

    I'll update here when I have the server online, too.

    Have fixed a reset bug with the door and published a new patch to workshop, so you have to update your server.

    The lack of acid rocket was my biggest concern, but we'll see.
    NS2c is still a possibility imo
