This only makes sense on a CRT monitor. You are still using CRT? Not to say it's bad. It has quite some advantages over TFT like being sharp with almost every resolution, while a TFT only is really sharp with its native resolution. In fact you could just have put a "Full HD" sticker on every CRT that wasn't too old....

5fps is still 5fps... and if people can play a little more comfortably on lower settings, why not?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
No, the simple fact is actually that if you want minimal texture resolutions etc you probably wont get any noticeable fps boost. I get no difference in fps at all if I change from highest to lowest personally.
It's kind of like upgrading to triple SLI with some awesome cards when you have 600MHz RAM, it will still be really slow, no matter how much cream you put in if there's a huge bottleneck.

I have said it before and probably repeat it again, UWE needs to set up some official servers on hardware they expect servers to use... least that way we can eliminate the physical server hardware from the performance equations.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yes the server Frelge it's an : I3 540 @ 3.07 Ghz (4 core) The process server.exe keep 100 % CPU with 1 player...

I got them for like $20 each lol
I am one less person able to test the game properly because of it, and I imagine a lot of people are having to run this in lower resolutions.
