Btw, NS1 didn't <i>need</i> any patches for years since it is overall stable with an almost perfect gameplay.
The point is sort of moot; with a 2.8 GHz core, you won't be able to run a high-end NS2 server unless you happen to have some serious cooling equipment. I believe around 4.6-5 GHz OC is the standard for most Inversion servers these days?
