Hmm.. didnt feel i was e-raging there, just responding to someone blaming the game in a negative manner without knowing whats really causing the problem.
But i do see how my words could be taken as rude upon a second reading, and so i sincerely apologize, Lusitaner. That was not my intention.

To the others out there screaming bloody murder, he was not requesting help or reporting a problem, merely stating it was his biggest complaint and despite this i still attempted to help with suggestions. (Proof enough that i obviously did think his problem was genuine, elodea.) Lusitaner has also been playing since the alpha so he's not a new player, Argathor. And finally, and most importantly, you are misunderstanding his problem. he clearly stated it is impossible to play on any server because he only gets 999 ping. This is not the occasional spike that we all get or even the 5 seconds of freezing or low ticks etc etc etc. He is saying, basically, that he cannot play. This has never been reported to the best of Sabahell's and my knowledge and we both looked. So basically, chill out guys.

And to Lus, open a thread in the troubleshooting forum and i'll do what i can to help diagnose the issue.
