As a jetpacker, can you sit on top of exo and weld it? As a skulk, can you climb the exo? As an exo, can you fire non stop by using the minis in turns?
Just wanted to say amazing work on the trailer UWE. Other than the obvious I'm loving the new GL model! Can't wait for the patch to hit Steam. Still seeing new comments every few seconds on the Youtube clip, mostly raving about teh awesome.
One tiny niggle, the bullets coming out of the miniguns look a little underwhelming compared to the other effects. I'm guessing this is still wip, but from outside it looks like there's just the occassional big flash coming out rather than a constant stream (from ~2:26 it's most visible)

It is off by default however, as it does drop some people's FPS by a good amount (other people don't notice a framerate hit so it does vary), but you will be able to turn it on in the main menu graphics options. It looks really nice. Reflections were also meant to be enabled, but unfortunately are causing some odd rare graphics issues for some people, so they were disabled again last minute. Hopefully they will be in the game soon, again, as some of the cleaner maps really benefit a lot from them.
QUOTE (1dominator1 @ Aug 28 2012, 05:10 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

9. That is wise but I still think any sort of vision inhibition should be avoided (especially with something as spammy as bilebomb) since in my opinion the game is far too fast and already visually confusing. Perhaps things can be balanced around other variables.

Remember in Unreal how you could choose weapon priorities? Obviously post release but you could implement even a basic form of this ... have an option in menu where one divides a list of classes into 'melee primary attack' xor 'ranged primary attack'.

You still can, but they cost tres. Not sure if the numbers are adjusted, otherwise I cannot see myself dropping much until late game.

So, does it act in a similar fashion to if you reach 100 pres (split yours among team), or your slot doesn't generate pres whatsoever?
I see this encouraging Khammanders to leave the hive more often if it's option 2.
