Renaming that file feels the same as renaming or removing all the intro.bik files in most games today, I shouldn't have to do this but I will.
I get the feeling if half of the 'immersion' effects (lerk clouds being solid, bile/spit vision being solid, celerity whoosh, gamma/brightness sliders) were a tick box in the settings 9/10 players would disable them at this point.

There's nothing to fix here. This game is filled to the brim with annoying immersion effects that juts get in the way of actual game play. Trim the fat.

Squad 5 this guy. Best mod for NS2 that isn't a mod. Hope you can find a way to fix the terrible screen blurring/audio muffling from having low health. Disgusting that this sort of thing is in a MP fps game that has aspirations for serious, competitive play.

800+ hours in this game and I didn't notice it was related to celerity. I feel like such a noob, plus I have audio technica ad1000's. You would think I could hear that stuff, but then again maybe i'm just deaf.

Loudness-wise it was fine, I just wanted the "playing while staying still" to be fixed. I'll miss it too.
I totally agree, the *crunch* sound when chomping down on Celery is the WORST!
