I think the moonpool should be able to build the seamoth. Needing to go to the surface and use the mobile builder is kinda odd.
I also think this. The moon pool is such a late game type blueprint that it needs the ability to say least make seamoths. Or we need an additional new room that can. I really wish there was more blueprints in general but specifically for bases as I never have a reason to make more then 3 or 4 rooms.

Having a separate manufacturing room seems cumbersome, and it would be so easy to just add the seamoth to the options at the seamoth upgrade station fabricator.
Expanding on the idea (and getting a little far-fetched) we could have a cyclops dry-dock, like a giant moonpool for construction and modification of the cyclops - perhaps the ability to install new engines and the like while docked?
That is amazing. They should absolutely add that but attatch it with a virtual computer and the holograms should display all the creatures you discovered and things from your PDA.

Two suggestions:
1) Expanded mid-game to late-game storage
Something like a lateral filing cabinet. It fills a wall but has 5 or 6 drawers, each one can be labelled and holds as much as a regular wall cabinet. So you can have one drawer for salt, one for copper ore, one for gold, etc, etc.
2) Modular larger rooms
Imagine the current multipurpose room cut in half. That gives you a rounded end piece. You can then add several straight segments to make the room as long as you want, then finally cap it off with another rounded end segment.
I've voted for bigger rooms just cause the big aquarium is way to big for the multifunctional room.. But i hope the bases will be more spacious, in enclosed spaces Xbox players doesn't have equal control and the gameplay in bases can become frustrating..

I wanted to say research areas as well, but I could only pick one. Anyway, it would be nice to have a Bed if only for aesthetic reasons. Of course, using it to sleep and recover health at night would be beneficial.
What I really want is not listed as an option; glass domes that you could build on top of Rooms. Everyone who's heard me say this is no doubt tired of listening to it.
But back on topic... They probably ought to add a jukebox to change to mood. And the desk should be functional at some point (if they haven't planned anything for it already)
Glass domes on roofs.... WHY AREN'T WE THE DEVS!?!?!?!?!?!
I know we're getting chairs for certain. Phaota's latest video on youtube shows them in one of the wrecks, and they will soon be scan-able and buildable. I hope they act in much the same way as the bench, suspending hunger and thirst as long as you're seated on them, BUT allowing you to access your PDA while doing so.

Agree. The large aquarium does not let you use a room for anything else.
I also like the ideas expressed about different shapes of rooms.
There are a lot of things I would like concerning base construction.
1) Larger rooms - I'm talking twice the size of the current multipurpose room. Basically Hub rooms.
2) Square rooms - Similar in size to 2 corridors long and 2 corridors wide. 6 connection points.
3) Glass rooms - A glass variant of all of the above discussed rooms.
4) Sloped Corridors - Twice the length of a normal corridor, one end is a corridor higher than the other.
5) Stair Corridors - Normal length for a corridor, one side is a corridor higher than the other.
6) Better ladder mechanics - Ladders that I can rotate in corridors, can get of halfway if available without having to build separate ladders.
7) Airlocks - Instead of the current hatch with an entry/exit animation
8) A dedicated divers moon pool - perhaps with some hangers for different available suit types
9) More full room upgrades - Such as "Med Bay", "large scale fabricator", "vehicle fabrication bay", "power transformer room".
Building on that, stair corridors that curve or split. So two high points and one low point, two low points and one high point, two low points and two high points, and L stair corridors so you can make spiralling staircases.
It's in the experimental build but it's still InDev; some of the features haven't been fully implemented and (De/)construction is broken. But it's coming... that much seems clear. Funny thing; it's listed as Misc, not base modules.
Not a room but rather a module. I'd LOVE to see the indoor Hydroponic Chambers implemented. They'd add even more reason to use rooms, and are much more space efficient than using a Large Aquarium to farm ocean flora inside.
Given how round everything else is, and how much of a focus on interior design there seems to be, I just don't like using the exterior planters.
Anyway, on top of that I'd simply like more rooms, bigger rooms, smaller rooms, etc. Though I do have a slight disposition towards both research tech and furniture, too.
Beds would be nice to have, and I'm honestly surprised we have benches, desks, and chairs, but not beds. A larger variation of the Multipurpose room would be great, and having a dedicated airlock room instead of standard hatches is something I'm definitely hoping for in the future.
Elevator rooms are something else we need IMHO, so if they eventually add depth crush to the human body we won't have to go down to our crush depth to get to our deep sea base - We'll just take a long elevator down instead.

Yeah that would help give us more space to farm, they should add that.
Correct..... its actually very popular here

P.S. Love the game!
I agree, I'd love to see in on xbox 360

I hope the dev don't dumb down the PC version to make it play nice on the X-box.

so looks like beds are coming.
