you know how a while ago there was buzz about a shark repellant suit some scientists were testing?
Call it a chemsuit: a suit that can be used to ward off anything that might even think about nibbling at your flippers by crafting specially designed toxins or pheromones (pick a term idc) from surrounding ingredients in the great blue. This can add multiple awesome things to the game- first, perhaps, you would be forced to study the reactions of marine life to different objects in different habitats (it could also be easier, of course, to expand the range of collectable creature eggs ingame and instead collect said eggs into a research facility for study), and second, it would become a much needed insurance to players that when they go to a biome to gather resource and know they are in danger of a specific creature there, that they can safely harvest said materials without interference for a select amount of time.
Is it wrong to hope the Devs put this in the game? I hope not!
